Cowgirl don't cry

On those days,

I just want to break down and cry,

Thinking lifes not worth living,

So why even try,

When people push me around,

Try to damage my pride,

When they say hurtful things,

Just to see my cry.

I look back on somthing you once told me,

One day after many sorrowful tears.

You said,

"Cowgirl don't cry,

Hold your head real high,

Reach for the sky,

You can be anything you want to be,

So always remember to follow your dreams,

Don't let their hurtful words get to you,

There just jelous,

Because your better then them,

They don't know you like I do,

I know you can do it,

I really do,

So wipe those tears,

Little cowgirl,

And keep your head held high."

These words of wisdom,

You told me,

Have kept me going,

From day to day.

Yes the words and mocking still hurt,

But now the pain doesn't consume me,

All because you said,

"Cowgirl don't cry."
