With looks I may have taken after mom,
But when it comes to personality were spot on,
I know that you came from a messed up family,
But don't you see what you're doing to me?
Constant comments and rude remarks,
No wonder why I love to stay hidden in the dark,
You complain about everything I do,
Heaven forbid if I try to reason with you,
You sleep all day and work all the time,
Are you sure that I can call you mine?
To me you're more like a stranger,
Only showing up if there's serious danger,
Like a lion in it's den,
Time with children you do not spend,
You wonder why I am so messed up,
Cause you can't really grow up,
You are more like a mature child,
unable to cut lose or go wild,
Of course you'll party with your friends all night,
But as soon as your home it turns into a fight,
Don't you see our family is falling apart?
Without you we can't even begin to start.
