Chapter 9

Our lips moved cautiously together, getting used to such a different kiss. Slowly growing more heated our mouths fused together, her hands tangled themselves in my hair, my hands grasped at her waist. Her lips were so soft, so smooth against my own, moving together as if made for each other. Our mouths briefly parted, resting forehead against forehead, breathing heavily, taking in each other's scent as if it was imperative. Opening my eyes briefly our pupils locked, her green Iris's barely noticeable in the black lust of her pupils. The look in her eye sent shivers down to my core, feeling myself begin to burn. More confident this time I pushed her back against the pillow, connecting our lips once more, my hands locking around her body. Her hands reached for my hair once more, pulling me impossibly closer as we breathed into each other's mouths. The kisses became more open mouthed as we both gained confidence in the kiss, her tongue grazing my bottom lip. Opening the kiss, our tongues danced together, moulding deeper into each other as our breathing became louder, touch became more desperate. Moving my body to straddle her lap, my hands tangled through her brown hair, pulling her into me as our hearts pounded together, chest to chest. Our hips slowly moved together our mouths greedily devoured each other. My hunger for her being finally released, months of longing into this one moment. Karlies strong arms wrapped around my body, switching us before I could blink, sharply inhaling as Karlie straddled my hips. Leaning down she swooped into my lips once more, sucking on my bottom lip, pulling it slowly with her teeth. An involuntary moan left my mouth, her teeth grazing my lip once more as she rested her forehead against mine, our breathing fast paced, smiles overtaking our faces. Her lips covered my face in delicate kisses as she moved to lay behind me, cuddling into her, her lips kissed my neck gently as we both calmed down. My mind raced, did that really just happen? Oh my god, I couldn't stop smiling. I didn't realise how deeply I had wanted this until it happened. "Wow..that was..." Karlie breathed from behind me. "Amazing.." I finished for her. My heart rate slowed, eyes drooping. Lost in the warmth of Karlie, sleep found me.

My eyes slowly opened, the sun beaming through the corners of my curtains. Karlie was closer to me than ever, snuggled into my back, her face resting peacefully in the crook of my neck. A fluttering in my stomach reminded me of what happened last night. Did that really happen? Did we really kiss? What even is life? My brain spiralled, thoughts out of control. What did this mean for us? Would she wake up and realise it was a mistake or that she regretted it? I can't believe this.
What if it's awkward now? Okay Taylor just calm down.
Before my brain could overthink anything else, I felt her stir, her lips moving against my neck, legs moving to tangle closer to me. "Good morning beautiful" her voice whispered, still resting her lips on my neck she lightly kissed the edge of my collarbone, sending a shiver into my spine. Rolling over shyly, I faced her, her green eyes full of happiness and contentment. Does this mean she likes me?
"Good morning sunshine" I returned with a small smile. We lay for who knows how long staring into each other's eyes, loosing track of time. "What's the time?" She said softly, I rolled over to check my phone, "8am" I replied. "I have to go to the gym at 10, what's your plans for the day? Your welcome to join me" I snorted with laughter, "babe I don't think I could keep up with you at the gym, I might grab coffee with Selena, where are you going after the gym?" I asked, expecting to not see her today, expecting an awkward avoidance. "Well..back to you, if you'll have me" karlie whispered, cheeks blushing beautifully. "I'll always want you here" I said with a smile.
Footsteps made their way down the staircase as I began to make breakfast, turning around my mouth went dry once more. Her muscular legs covered in only tiny gym shorts, a crop top and a tight fitting singlet covered her top half. "Umm..I..uh I'm making you an omelette" I stammered, she walked over to me, sitting on a stool and pouring herself a glass of juice I had just squeezed. "Thanks babe, do you know how adorable you are when your checking me out?" Karlie said casually with one shaped eyebrow wiggling in the air. "What oh no..uh..I was just..." I couldn't even speak. "It's okay, I like it" She said, sending a deep blush into my cheeks. Where we even going to talk about last night? Should I bring it up? I don't even know what to do here oh my god. "Karls um...should we...I think we should talk..about...uh...last night" I stammered nervously. Her long legs slinked off the stool and made their way over to me, standing extremely close to me. "Well, I don't regret it, if that's what your wondering" she said softly, "you don't?" I said surprised, looking at the ground. Her fingers touched my chin, forcing me to look her in the eyes, "Taylor, I would never regret anything with you, you make me so happy, can I be honest here?" She continued. Oh well here it comes, don't say you didn't expect it Taylor, just keep it together at least until she goes t the gym. "I've had feelings for you ever since I layed eyes on you, there was always something about you that I couldn't get out of my head, your perfect Taylor" she said gently. "Really?" I said, completely thrown off by her answer, expecting rejection. "Well karlie, It's been the same for me, it's always been you, I've just been too scared to admit it" I whispered, deathly quiet. "Why were you scared?" She asked gently, pushing a hair out of my eyes. "Because I never want to loose you" I choked out. "Taylor, you will always have me, no matter what." She said, her eyes deeply staring into mine. Our foreheads touched, breathing each other in, eyes locked onto one another, unable to look away. Before I could do anything, her arms had locked around my thighs, lifting me up on to the kitchen bench and stepping between my legs. Our lips crashed against each other passionately, moaning into each other's mouths, more confident than last night. Our tongues almost immediately collided, my legs wrapped tight around her waist as her hands greedily ran across my back, stopping at my lower back. Stopping to breath our foreheads rested against each other once more, "you're so strong" I whispered, tangling my hands in her hair and bringing her lips to mine, swiping my tongue around her bottom lip. She moaned into my mouth, sending waves of desire through me, her hands grabbing lower as she slid them across my back, across my thighs, back up to cup my face in hers. Our breathing was fast paced once more, electricity cracklings between us as our lips moulded perfectly together. Her mouth moved to my neck, leaving open mouthed kisses on them as I took a deep breath. Smelling something unfamiliar. "Oh fuck babe, the eggs!!" I said, pushing her away gently and racing to the other side of the kitchen to turn the omelette off before it burned. Facing her once more, I took in her appareance, eyes dark, filled with lust, hair ruffled and lips slightly swollen. My own breathing matches hers, fast paced, hearts pounding, Well shit...I didn't expect that.
This girl was going to drive me insane. And I loved it.
