Game night

*Miriam's pov*

The Saturday night after the basketball game all of us decided that it would be fun to have a game night. The game night was going to be at my house. Louis and I were going to serve dinner to everyone.

We had both spent all day figuring out what to make for dinner. Louis had finally decided that we should make steaks and mashed potatoes. Louis helped my dad grill the steaks while I cooked the mashed potatoes. We were still cooking when someone arrived. I had put a small pink post it note on the door reading "come on in."

*Rachael's pov*

When Niall and I promenaded into Miriam's house, I heard the glee version of Michael Jackson's "Smooth criminal playing from the stereo. "Miriam!"

"I'm in the kitchen." I continued ambling through the house to the kitchen. Niall and I held hands as we watched Miriam make the mashed potatoes. We both queried Miriam. "Do you need help."

"Yes please." Miriam stepped away from the stove so Niall and I could help her. Louis must have heard us come in because he stepped inside and holler "hey Niall, hey Rachael both of your steaks are just about ready."

"Ok thanks Lou." Niall and I had perfectly made mashed potatoes. A few minutes later Louis announced that our steaks were ready. As he served us our steaks, the door opened I recognized Catherine's high pitch yell "Miriam, Louis we are here!"

"Ok."

*Catherine's pov*

As we made our way into the kitchen, we saw that the food was ready. Naturally, Niall seemed to be devouring his food. Zayn shyly waved to Niall. "Hi Niall."

He replied with a mouth full of food saying "oh hey Zayn."

Rachael stopped chewing her food and said "Hi Zayn."

"Oh hey Rachael." We continued walking to the kitchen. Zayn and I were both starving. Louis and Miriam instantaneously told us hi and that we were welcome to get our food. "Thanks Louis and Miriam for a great dinner."

"Your welcome." Zayn and I sat down with Niall and Rachael. Without thinking, we started eating. A few minutes later, we saw that Harry and Maya were roaming into the house.

*Maya's pov*

"Oh hey guys we made it."

Everyone who was sitting at the table responded "glad you could make it Maya and Harry. At the same time, we both remarked "Louis and Miriam must have made a pretty good dinner because it smells great in here.

Miriam heard us and retorted back " yeah we did." Louis came in and grinned when he chuckled "you're guys' food is ready."

"Ok thanks for the steaks Louis." I muttered.

"Yeah thanks for part of the dinner."

"Your welcome."

"Ahem aren't you guys going to say thank you to me?"

"Of course Miriam we will. "Thanks Miriam."

"Your welcome Harry."

"Thanks for the mashed potatoes Miriam."

"Your welcome Maya." They served us our food and we calmly took a seat at the table. Just then the door opened with a sudden creak.

*Kirsten's pov*

I was embarrassed when I opened the door because the door made a creepy noise. My face turned red when I saw that everybody was staring at me and Liam.
