High school romance

Sandia registration

*Kirsten's pov*

Liam and I were just arriving to go register at Sandia for sophomore year. Liam and I went with Maya and Harry in his Audi. Harry's Audi is super clean and fancy. Harry is kind of a reckless driver.

Luckily we made it to school in about ten minutes. I was excited to finally be going to Sandia. I had spent freshman year in Maryland. I was joyful that I had moved back to New Mexico.

Harry pulled his Audi into a parking space in the pool parking lot. As the engine turned off, the car jerked forward and made me and Liam almost hit our heads on the seats in front of us. We unbuckled and followed Harry and Maya to the hallways by the commons.

Harry and Maya held hands like Liam and I. We had to go all the way around to the senior parking lot. We started at a big table that had a sign above it. The sign said registration and had lower signs labeled "a-D, e-j, k-p, q-z. Liam went to the k-p section since his last name was Payne. I made my way over to the A-D section since my last name was Butchko.

The lady behind my section handed me a cream colored card that was labeled with my name. It also had a checklist. I realized that the first station we had to go to was to see if we had any library fines. "Where do we go first?"

"We go to this table over here."

"Ok. For what?"

"It's to see if we have any library fines."

"Oh."

"Yeah. Follow me."

"Ok." Liam looked really nervous. He trailed behind me. We didn't have to wait long for the librarian to check if we had any fines or not. "You're good. No fines. All clear."

"Ok." I stopped at the end of the table and waited for Liam to get checked. I heard the librarian tell him, "no fines.."

"Ok."

"Did you come from the U.K?"

"Yes mam."

"Were you born in the U.K ?"

"Yes mam I was."

"Wow that's amazing!"

"Yeah I guess it is..."

"Well I better let you go so you can get registered."

"Yep."

Liam followed me into the cafeteria. He looked around at the posters on the wall.He liked the painting of the world on the wall. He gripped my hand as we walked up to our sections. "Kirsten Butchko." The boy behind my section handed me a packet ot papers to fill out. Liam stared at me. "Li go get your papers."

"Oh yeah sorry i forgot."

"it's ok." Then he turned to the girl behind his section and told her "Liam Payne." The girl started rifling throught the papers to find his. Minutesl later the girl handed him his packet. 'Thank you." Liam told her.

"Your welcome." He turned back to me and held my hand again. We looked for the nearest table to sit down at. We sat next to eachiother at the table as we filled out our packets. Liam had'nt memorized his new phone number so he called Zayn to remind him.

*Liam's pov*

I pulled out my phone and dialed Zayn's number. Zayn answered after the first two rings. "Hello."\

"Hi Zayn."

"Yes Liam?"

"Ughh Zayn I cant remember my number."

'It's ok Liam."

"Umm your number is 50567898."

"Ok thanks Zayn."
