*Rachael's pov*

The next two weeks consisted of preparing for finals and taking them. It had been over a week since Miriam's birthday. Today was Monday. We would be taking two finals today. The two finals I would be taking were my chemistry final and my English.

*Miriam's pov*

At my school we didn't have as many finals as the other high schools did. Our school was only required to write an English final for the end of each six weeks. My teacher had assigned me to write an essay on a certain aspect of to kill a mockingbird. I really liked to write essays.

This was the first year that both Zayn and I had to take finals. I was nervous for all of my finals. Especially my biology and algebra ones because I absolutely sucked at math. Each final would take four hours. Which meant four hours in the same room.

Today would be the first day of my second year of finals. The two finals I had to take were my French final and my Deca final. This would be my first set of finals in New Mexico .

*Maya's pov*

Today was the start of finals. I would be taking my world history final and my French final.

*Niall's pov*

I had just started my first final if the day. English. I would be in here for four hours. Boredom for four hours. I was going to sleep after I was done since I hated reading.

I had just finished my second final. I was so glad that it was almost lunch. I had brought a book with me to read like a letter had suggested. The teacher stared at me like I was going to do something, Miriam was across from me reading the book "The night circus." As she did every few minutes she looked up and smiled. This time though, she mouthed the words "I'm so hungry."

"Me too." She winked at me and grinned then her eyes looked back down at the book.

*Zayn's pov*

Lunch had barely started. Niall, Rachael and Catherine were all sitting next to me in the cafeteria. I turned to Catherine and asked "How do you think you did on your finals."

"I hope I did good."

"Me too."

"I hate finals."

"Yeah we didn't have to take them in England."

"I figured you didn't have to."

*Liam's pov*

Lunch had started twenty minutes ago. I was dreading my last final of the day. I wasn't so great at chemistry. "Kirsten."

"Yes?"

"I'm scared for my chemistry final."

"Don't worry I'm sure you'll do great."

"Yeah I guess."

"You will. Trust me."

"Thanks Kirsten."

"Your welcome Li." She planted a soft kiss and told me not to worry.

* Harry's pov*

I absolutely hated finals. They proved to be the only thing that I disliked about American schools. Finals were utterly stupid.
