High school romance

Flu is gone

*Catherine's pov*

I was still in the hospital. It was early morning. The only thing I could think about was how Zayn was coming to visit me. I seemed to be getting better. I wished that I would go home today. It was now 7 am. Just as I was liking at the clock. Zayn casually strolled into my room.

*Zayn's pov*

When I strolled into Catherine's room a small smile formed on her lips. She looked much better than she had in days. Her cheeks were rosy and she didn't seem as sick. As soon as I noticed those things, I quickly spoke "we need to tell the doctor as soon as he comes into check in you."

"Ok."

"You ready for breakfast?"

"Yeah let's go."

*Catherine's pov*

It took us thirty minutes to eat lunch. After eating, we had to go back to my room and wait for the doctor to come in my room. "I hope he comes soon."

"Me too." Just then the doctor strolled in. "Are you feeling better Catherine?"

"Yeah."

"Then I guess you can go home. We just have to discharge you, but before we do that I'll check your temperature."

"Ok."

"I'll be right back." Dr. Ramirez left the room for a few minutes then cane back with a thermometer. "Say ahh."

"Ahh." The thermometer beeped with the temperature 98.8.

*Zayn's pov*

"You're better you can go home."

"Yay!" I shouted. I believe I was more excited for Catherine to come home than she was. Before leaving the room, Dr. Ramirez muttered "Catherine you may pack up your stuff then meet me by my office."

"Ok." I helped her gather up her toiletries, her few pairs of clothes that she had brought with her and a few miscellaneous belongings. Then we skipped out the door on our way to Dr. Ramirez' office.

*Catherine's pov*

We stepped into the doctor's office tensely. We sat down in front if him. He put a bunch of papers down in front of us. Zayn and I signed them quickly and then hauled my stuff to his Bentley.

It felt weird to see a car. I hadn't seen one in two weeks. I hadn't even been in a car for that time. I was happy to hear music again. Zayn played the band's song "moments" throughout the car.
