High school romance

First day of school

*Rachael's pov*

It was 5:45 in the morning I awoke to the sound of my alarm going off. My alarm was the song "on the floor" by pit bull and Jennifer Lopez. My eyes opened to the blinding light of the sun coming through my window. I lethargically climbed out of bed. Zombie like I walked down the hallway so I could take a shower.

When I came out of the shower, I was startled to hear pots and pans clanging in the kitchen. I cautiously stepped into the kitchen with my towel wrapped around my body. "Mom?"

"Yeah?"

"What are you doing up?"

"Oh I'm just making pancakes for you on your first day."

"Oh ok. Thanks mom."

"Your welcome Rachael."

I went back to my room to get dressed. I picked out a shirt with flowers and a skirt. It only took five minutes for me to get dressed. After I was done dressing myself, I went to the kitchen to start eating the pancakes that my mom had made for me. The pancakes had blueberries in them. I ate three pancakes before I was completely full. The last thing to do was brush my teeth and wash my face. I brushed my teeth with my purple oral b toothbrush and toothpaste. I spent two minutes making sure that my mouth was clean and minty fresh.

It was now almost 7:15. My sister drove me to school. She parked the car so her and I could both get out. Once we were inside the school, she went to the gym to meet her friends. I went to the cafeteria to meet up with Niall and the boys. As soon as Niall saw me his eyes opened wide and he smiled his signature sexy smile. "Rachael there you are."

"Hi Niall."

"Well don't you look extra beautiful and sexy today."

"Umm thanks."

Zayn finally noticed that I was standing there. He turned around and said , "oh hi Rachael."

"Hi I can't believe it took you this long to notice I was here."

"Sorry about that." Zayn apologized."

"It's ok Zayn where's Catherine."

'She should be here. Her mom is dropping her off."

"Oh ok." Niall Zayn and I had just started talking about how we thought was going to happen today when I heard a relatively small voice shout. "Zayn!"

I turned around as I suspected it was Catherine. She ran up to Zayn and hugged him. She was shaking a little bit. I tapped her on the shoulder, "hey Catherine are you ok?"

"Yeah I'm nervous that's all."

"It's ok . Everything will be fine"

"Yeah don't worry Catherine."

Zayn blurted out "yeah everything will be five babe. You aren't the only one who's nervous I am too."

Zayn squeezed Catherine's hand to comfort her. Just then the loud ding of the bell sounded. "Well I guess it's time for school. We all headed to our first period together.

Miriam's pov*

Louis, Maya, Kirsten Harry Liam and I had all met in the center of the commons before the bell rang. I was kind of sad that my first period was math, but luckily I had it with Louis. For some reason, I was more nervous than I was supposed to be. My kegs started to wobble a little bit. Louis noticed that I was shaking and asked me "are you ok."

"Yeah I'm fine."

"You sure? You look really nervous."

"Well I am nervous."

"Don't worry it will be fine."

"How do you know?"

"Because I'll be with you."

"Yeah.. You're right."

We walked into first period and sat down next to each other.
