River of lights

*Catherine's pov*

It was a couple days after Christmas. I would really like to go to the river of lights tonight I thought t myself as I was getting out of the bed. Zayn was still sound asleep next to me. I picked up my phone and looked at the time. It was already 10:00. I went over to Zayn's side of the bed and gently touched his chest. "Good morning Zaynie it's time to wake up."

"Good morning love." He stretched his arms. He yawned as he asked me "What time is it?"

"A couple minutes past 10."

"I'm so glad we slept in."

"Yeah me too."

"Are we going to do anything today."

'I don't know. I was going to ask you the same thing."

'Why were you wanting to do something today?

"Yeah. I was hoping we could go to the River of lights tonight."

"What's that?"

"it's a light show on the river near the botanical gardens."

"oh my gosh that sounds so much fun."

"it is."

*Zayn's pov*

"Are we going to go alone?" I asked Catherine.

"I don't know it depends if everyone else wants to go."

"ok. Do you want me to call Liam?"

"sure babe."

*Kirsten's pov*

Liam and I were in the kitchen when I heard one of our phones ring. It was Liam's phone. Liam picked up his phone.

*Liam's pov*

*On the phone*

"Zayn is that you mate?"

"Yeah."

"what is it."

"I wanted to know if you would like to go to the river of lights tonight with Catherine and I."

"of course. Is everyone else coming."

"yeah if they want to."

"cool. Would you like me to call Harry and see if him and Maya would like to come with us?"

"Sure."

"bye Zayn."

"bye liam."

*Harry's pov*

Maya and I were just heading down to swimming in the backyard when my phone started ringing.

"hello."

"hi Harry."

"what's up."

Catherine wax wondering if you would like to go to the river of lights tonight with her Zayn Kirsten and I."

"sure."

"ok. Maya is invited too."

"terrific."

"see you tonight."

"what time?"

"6:30."

"ok. See you there."

*Rachael's pov*

I was watching the newest episode of the voice when my phone binged. I jumped and instinctively grasped my phone. I had a text message from Harry.

Harry: hey Rachael would you and Niall like to come with us to the river of lights?

Rachael: sure I'll ask Niall.

Harry: ok just let me know.

Rachael: k

**end text message**

I put down my phone and turned to Niall. I asked him "Hey Niall."

"huh what."

"Harry was wondering if we would like to go to the river of lights tonight with everyone."

"sounds good."

"ok."

**text message**

Rachael: Niall said it was fine of we went.

Harry: ok awesome see you there.

Rachael: what time do we have to be there?

Harry: 6:30

Rachael: ok bye

Harry: bye

"what time do we have to be there."

"6:30"

"awesome."

"yeah."

"I'm so excited."

"me too."

*Miriam's pov*

I had my phone right in my hand but it still scared me when it sounded with a loud tweet. I looked at my phone to see who had texted me. It was Rachael.

Rachael: hey

Miriam: hey what's up.

Rachael: Catherine was wondering if you and Louis want to go with us to the river of lights tonight.

*aside*

"hey Louis is it ok if we go to the river of lights tonight with everyone."

"that sounds amazing."

*back to text message*

Miriam: Louis said it's ok."

Rachael: awesome see you at 6:30.

Miriam: ok bye

Rachael: bye
