"Morning Debbie," Lincoln greets the manager as she walks into the diner through the back. She takes off her jacket, replacing it with a apron. Lincoln sets her things in her little cubby and locked it.

"Oh, good morning Lincoln, how's Parker?" Debbie smiles genuinely curious about how parker has been doing. Debbie had hired Lincoln when she was three months pregnant with Parker and now he was 4. Lincoln smiles grabbing her note pad and shoves it into the pocket of the apron.

"He's good, he's getting really big." Debbie smiles at that.

"Well bring him by sometime to visit. I miss him." Lincoln laughs walking to the front of the diner. She grabbed the finished pot of brewed coffee and started serving the few people that was seated at the breakfast bar. After making sure they had everything they needed, Lincoln made her way to the kitchen and started helping the chef make the breakfast.

"Lincoln a group of 12 just walked in can you get them?" Aspen another waitress there asked her. Lincoln grabbed 12 menus and made her way to the table.

"Hi, I'm Lincoln your waitress for today, can I start you off with any drinks?" She asks them, handing out the menus. She glanced at the large group of people, they were talking pretty loud amongst each other.

"Hello, yeah can I get the strongest cup of coffee you have," One of them spoke up. Lincoln turns to them, from his voice she made the assumption that they were British.

"Louis you need everything but a coffee," Another one of the boys said, he too had a strong British accent.

"Can I have a glass of OJ please," Lincoln nods writing down coffee and OJ in her pad. She could tell this male wasn't British like the others. Maybe Scottish or Irish?

"And for you all?" Lincoln glances at the rest of the people at the table. They all fired various drinks at her. Lincoln bit her lips as she wrote down all the drinks. "Okay, I'll be back in a minute with your drinks." Lincoln headed back to the kitchen and got out a tray, she placed all the drinks onto the trays than brought them out to the group.

"Here you go, " Lincoln placed the drinks in front of everyone. "Are you ready to order?" She gets her pen and pad ready. Once the group had ordered all their food, Lincoln brought the orders to the cook. She waited patiently for everything to be cooked, then her along with Aspen served the table their food.

"Thanks!" The Irish one said digging into his food.

"Bloody hell Niall, slow down." Louis laughed picking up his fork. Lincoln smiles softly, filling up some of the cups with water.

"Enjoy your meal, just call if you need anything." Lincoln walked away from the table, walking to the back of the diner. She went in her bag and pulled out the book she was currently reading. Every now and then she would glance at the clock to make sure she left at the right time to give Parker his lunch.

Lincoln looked up when she saw the group was leaving, she set down the book and made her way over to the table. She started cleaning up when she saw a note on the table folded around some tickets. She unfolded the note reading her eyes widening slightly. She couldn't believe how generous they were with the tip. They left her a hundred dollar bill. Lincoln flipped over the tickets reading what concert they were for.

"One Direction?" She shrugged and shoved the tickets into her pocket. She really wasn't updated with the latest celebrities and gossips of that sort. "Debbie I need to rush over to Parker's school and bring him some lunch. I forgot to pack him some this morning." Lincoln explains taking off her apron to put on her jacket.

"That's fine dear, why don't you make him some lunch with food from the kitchen and bring that? You don't have to go buy anything." Debbie suggested.

"I don't want to be a bother." Lincoln declined shaking her head, she didn't want to take advantage of Debbie's kindness.

"It's no problem dear, go on. It's on the house." Debbie gently pushes her into the kitchen. Lincoln mouths thank you to her. Debbie smiled and got out some cookies.

"Also please be a doll and add these to his lunch, my treat."

Lincoln couldn't put into words how grateful she was for Debbie. She grabbed one of the croissants and added two slices of ham with some cheese on it. Lincoln then grabbed one of the small chocolate milk boxes that they use for the kids menu and added it to the brown paper bag with the sandwich. Lincoln grabbed the cookies and also placed them in the bag.

"Okay, Debbie I should be back before my break is over." She tells her adjusting her purse over her shoulder.

"Take your time dear." Debbie tells her.

Lincoln opened the door to the diner, stepping out into the cold crisp air. This was what she hated about the seasons changing. She highly disliked fall and winter. Lincoln walked quickly down the road in the direction of Parker's school. When she got to the building she was eager to get in. It was too cold for her outside.

"Hi, I'm here to bring Parker Pearson his lunch." Lincoln told the lady in the front office. The lady nods typing in a few things on the computer.

"Okay, you can leave the lunch on the table, someone will come down and bring it to him. Is that all I can help you with today?" Lincoln nods, setting the bag down. "Okay, have a nice day miss."

"You too." Lincoln pulled her jacket tightly around her small frame as she made her way out of the building. On her way back, she saw a long line forming in front of one of the music stores. She glanced inside catching glimpse of what seemed to be a book signing maybe? On further inspection she saw it was the same group from the diner early. So they were famous, she concluded. Lincoln stepped away from the line when she saw a few of the younger girls glaring at her. She wasn't going to cut the line, she wasn't even interested in the signing. Lincoln sighed and started her walk back to the diner.
