"I had a really good time," Lincoln tells Niall. They were now heading back to go pick up Parker. Niall flashes her a smile, his blue eyes sparkling in happiness. He was glad she had a good time, hopefully that meant she would want to spend more time with him.
"I did too," He tells her, looking out the window besides her, turning onto another street. Lincoln placed her purse on the floor by her feet. "I was thinking we could take Parker out for a bit and get some frozen yogurt," Niall suggest. Lincoln smiles softly, liking that idea. When Niall finally made it to the front of the school, he parked the car. Lincoln took off her seat belt getting out. Niall got out with her, walking over to her side. He grabbed her hand in his. Lincoln blushed squeezing his hand gently.
The rest of the parents started to arrive and some of the mother's glanced at Niall and Lincoln. She could tell they were all gossiping about her. They always did. She didn't know what it was, but other mothers always seemed to hate on teen moms or anyone younger then they were. The doors eventually opened, the older kids piling out. Lincoln walked to the line for Parker's class. She smiled when she saw him searching the crowd for her, as he always did. He smiles wide and runs over to her.
"Hey baby," She smiles letting go of Niall's hand to hug Parker. He giggles hugging her back, before pulling away. He looks to Niall his smile getting even bigger. Niall chuckles lifting him up.
"Hey little man, how was school?" He asks the young boy. Parker goes into a full story about how his day went and what he learned in class. Lincoln shoved her hands in her pockets, walking next to Niall as they made it back to the car. Niall opened the door, helping Parker into the seat. "Guess where we're going?" Niall starts up the car once everyone was buckled up.
"Where?" Parker pushes his hood off of his head, "The park?" He guesses to which Niall shakes his head no. "Your hotel?" Niall shook his head no again. "I give up," Parker pouts, looking at Niall.
"We're going to the toy store," Niall tells him. Parker squeals in excitement. He had never been in a toy store before. Lincoln would just get him a toy for his birthday or Christmas while he was at school. He never had the opportunity to go with her when she had to get him a toy.
"Niall..." Lincoln looks at him, she didn't have the money to get Parker a new toy. She also didn't want him to be spending his money on Parker. Niall gives her a look, which basically said she wouldn't be able to stop him. Lincoln sighs leaning back in the seat. She didn't want him to feel like he had to spoil them with his money. It was his hard earned money, she didn't want him to waste it.
Parker couldn't get his seat belt off fast enough when Niall parked in front of ToysRus. Niall chuckles getting out of the car, grabbing Parker's hand to keep him from running off ahead of them. Lincoln got out the car quietly, walking close to Niall and Parker.
"This is so cool!" Parker's eyes were wide as they entered the store. Niall smiles grabbing a cart. Lincoln opens her mouth to protest, he didn't need a cart. "Mommy can I get a toy, please!" Parker begs his mom. Lincoln mumbles a small okay. Parker heard her and started to jump up and down. Niall starts to push the cart, leading them to another part of the store.
"Hey Parker do you like this?" Niall shower Parker a train station game. You basically build the track on your own and also got to build your own train model. Parker looks at the toy nodding his head yes. Niall grins and places it in the cart. Parker walks down the isle, biting his lips as he reaches for another toy.
"Parker, I said only one toy," Lincoln decides to speak up shaking her head at him. Parker pouts and puts the toy back down. Niall walks over to where Parker was, whispering something to him. Niall then picked up the toy which was a fire truck and placed it in the cart. "Niall," Lincoln looks at him. She didn't want Parker to be greedy.
