September 29.
Lincoln woke up the next morning in a extremely happy mood. The kiss with Niall was something that she couldn't explain. The emotions that were placed in that kiss were mind blowing. Lincoln rolled over in her bed looking at the time. It was only 8:30 am.She sat up in her bed, walking over to the bathroom to do her daily morning routine. When she was done, she walked out to the living room. All the toys were still sprawled out all over the floor. Lincoln picked them up and began to carry them to her room, shoving them all in her closet. She walked back to the kitchen making herself a cup of coffee. She leaned on the counter, drinking the caffeinated drink. Once she was done she washed her mug, putting it back in the cabinet.
Parker was bound to wake up any moment now. Lincoln went to the sink, washing the few dirty plates that was in there.
"Mommy?" Parker mumbles rubbing his eyes as he walked into the kitchen. He sat down at the table, resting his head on it.
"Morning baby, how you feeling?" She asked walking over to him. Lincoln rubbed his back gently. Parker mumbles something incoherent. "What was that baby?" She asks.
"I want cereal," He lifts his head up, looking up at her. Lincoln nods, getting one of his small bowls. She poured some cereal into the bowl with some milk, handing it to him. Lincoln reaches in one of the draws pulling out a spoon, holding it out for him. Parker takes it from her and starts to eat his breakfast. While Parker was eating his breakfast, Lincoln went on her phone. She smiles when she saw one of the texts from Niall. She clicked on it, reading his text.
From Niall: Good morning Princess, I hope you had a good rest. The boys and I have an interview today and a few meet and greets. Would you mind if I stop by later?
Lincoln smiles to herself as she quickly writes a response.
To Niall: Yeah sure! What time?
Lincoln read over her text before pressing send. She set the phone down on the counter, checking on Parker. He was just about done with his cereal. Lincoln took the bowl from him, dumping the milk in the sink.
"Okay, go brush your teeth," She tells him. Parker gets down from the chair, rushing to the bathroom. Lincoln quickly washed the plate and grabbed her phone.
From Niall: Great! How does 5pm sound? I'll bring Chinese.
Lincoln turned the water off, leaning on the counter as she texted him back saying that the time was fine and that Chinese would be okay.
"Mommy I'm done!" Parker shouts from the bathroom. Lincoln walks over to the bathroom. She turns on the water, feeling it for the right temperature. Lincoln then placed the plug in the drain to allow the tub to fill with water. She then helped Parker out of his clothes. Parker climbed into the tub, settling into the warm water.
Lincoln ran her hand through his hair, getting it wet with water. Parker's hair darkened from the and lost its curls. Lincoln placed a good amount of shampoo in her hand and lathered it into his hair. Parker leaned his head back so Lincoln could rinse the shampoo out.
While she was cleaning him, Parker splashed around in the water. Lincoln laughs softly standing up to get the towel. "Alright baby boy, time to get out," Lincoln holds the towel out for him.
Parker stands up shaking the water from his hair. Lincoln wraps the towel around him, leading him to his room.
"What do you want to wear today?" Lincoln asks him, opening the door to the closet.
Parker looks inside of his closet pointing to his plaid button up and some dark wash jeans. Lincoln dried him with the towel and got him dressed. When he was fully clothed, Lincoln brushed through his curls. She stood up, placing the brush on the dresser and told him to go play.
While Parker played, Lincoln decided to clean the house. She didn't really have any friends so that was the only thing she could think of doing.
After cleaning the house for two hours, Lincoln decided to take Parker out for a walk.
Parker skipped down the block, holding onto to Lincoln's hand. "Mommy look it's Niall!!" Parker tugs on her arm, pointing to the poster. Lincoln smiles looking at the One Direction poster displayed in front of the store. "He's so famous!" Parker smiles walking away from the store.
"Excuse me miss?" Lincoln stopped walking to turn to the person who had called out to her attention. Parker stopped skipping, standing by his mother's side.
"Yes?" Lincoln asks confused. She had no idea who this guy was. Before she could say anything else, he aimed a camera at her face and started snapping pictures of her.
Out of no where others with cameras started taking pictures of her. Lincoln widened her eyes in horror. She grabbed hold of Parker's hand, covering his face as she tried to get away from them.
"Are you dating Niall Horan?"
"Is that his son?"
"Are you guys getting married?"
"Where have you been this entire time?"
Questions after questions were fired at Lincoln as she ducked her head, walking into a random store. Lincoln lets out a shaky breath as she saw the large amounts of paparazzi forming in front of the store, hoping to get a picture of her.
Lincoln held Parker close to her, "Keep your face covered," She tells him. Parker nods, keeping his head down. He grips onto her legs, not fully understanding what was going on. Lincoln looked around the front of the store. There was no way for her to get through that large group. Lincoln sighs turning to the workers.
"Is there another way to get out of here?" Lincoln asks biting her lips. The worker nods, telling her to follow them. Lincoln glances at the paparazzi before following the working. "Thank you," Lincoln tells them pushing the door open. She stepped out into what seemed to be an alley way. She held Parker's hand tightly as she walked down the alley towards the street. She looked both ways before speeding off to their apartment building.
