Just me and you

**Mum's POV**

'Miss Matthews Rosa is just in a coma....She can still hear you, but she can't see you...' the doctor was explaining to me, but I wasn't listening. I had been in this situation before with Rosa. And it hadn't ended well. 'It's ok Doctor, I know what to do and what to expect.....' I stutter as I look at my Rosa, lying lifeless on a hospital bed. 'Ok then Miss Matthews, the Doctor's need to be alone with Rosa for a few hours, to do some tests, so would you mind...' the doctor gestured towards the door. I knew what he meant, so I lent down to Rosa, and kissed her goodbye. Then I left. I was directed towards the waiting room, I sat down on that cold, hard hospital chair for what must of been 2 hours. Then the doctor rushed towards me. 'Good news Miss Matthews, Rosa is out of her coma and she is talking, asking for you!' he said excitedly as he pulled me towards Rosa's room.

'Rosa!' I screamed as I saw her beautiful face. With her eyes open. 'Mum!' she called, her voice was hoarse, but I didn't mind or care. My Rosa was back. 'Mum, I can't move my right arm......' she whimpered in pain. The doctors all turned around to face her, all with shock and surprise written on their faces. 'Rosa, ok darling. Try to move your right arm.....' one of the nurses comforted her. 'I...can't...' Rosa sobbed as her face turned bright pink from concentration. 'Ok Rosa, where does it hurt...' another nurse pinched her arm in various places. 'I can't feel...anything..' Rosa sobbed as I placed my hand in her left.  'Rosa please, try. For me...' I said as I rubbed her hand. 'Ok, mum...' Rosa focused.

10 minutes later and Rosa was still focusing. 'Rosa, I think you can stop now....' the doctor frowned 'No, I must try......' she pleaded 'Rosa, it can't be forced...' he continued, but then her index finger twitched slightly. 'Did you see that?' I asked in shock. 'Rosa, you may of just regained sensation in your arm!' one of the nurses cheered. A smile grew on her face, but she was still concentrating. Come on Rosa, you can do it. I thought in my head.

**Rosa's POV**

I didn't see my finger twitch, but apparently it did. So I was happy, but I wouldn't stop until I could feel my whole arm. The pain was excruciating. But I persevered. Apparently the knife cut a vein inside my arm, and a lot of blood was lost, and so was the sensation in my arm. I wanted to get the sensation back, for that mystery girl. And for mum of course. Everything was going fine until Robert entered the room. 'Hi Rachael, I came as soon as I herd....' he rushed over to mum, and he kissed her on the cheek, yuk! 'Robert, I don't want you here and neither does Rosa, we're over remember. Just leave our lives and never return.' Mum shrugged Robert off as she crossed her arms. What did she mean "we're over"? Mum saw my puzzled look and she explained. 'Me and Robert went out to dinner, then Robert got drunk and he broke up with me, but I was going to break up with him anyway. He was saying how he "loved" Hollie now, and how he hated me...So yeah...' mum said nervously as she stoked my hair. 'Oh....' I mumbled 'Good....So it's just you and me now then?' I asked 'Yes Rosa, just me and you....' mum confirmed.
