**Mum's POV**
'Is she hurt?' I asked worriedly as I hopped into my car 'No, she fell on the roof. Luckily she didn't fall off. But she does have a few cuts and bruises.' a teacher at the other end spoke as I drove. 'Thank God. What did she say when she was on the roof? I herd she wanted to say something, but what?' I questioned as I herd some rustling at the other end. 'Ummm....she talked about you, and this man called Robert, who she thought to be a drug dealer, um......she talked about her dad, and how people mistake her for a boy.....' she murmured, she knew how I would take this. 'She just needed to get it out of her system I think...we have arranged a physiatrist session...' she spoke confidently as if this normal.
'Ok...' I whispered as I pulled up at the school. I had to take a day off work to see Rosa. I hung up as I parked. She told me where Rosa was resting. I didn't need to look far because a crowd of people were outside the door, peering in on her sleeping. 'Please....excuse me......' I said as I pushed people away and I tried to make my way towards the door. I finally managed to open the door. I saw Rosa laying peacefully on the sofa, with teachers and the police scattered around the room. 'Ahh, you must be Rosa's mum, I've herd a lot about you. Is it true that this Robert is a drug dealer?' a police man came over to me, he was very tall, I certainly felt intimidated. 'Yes, I am Rosa's mum. As for Robert, if that really is his real name, I do not know whether he is a drug dealer. But I know that my daughter would not tell a huge fib like this.' I sighed as I watched my daughter lie lifelessly on a sofa.
**Rosa's POV**
'Go away...' I mumble as I try to swat an annoy fly away, but it just won't leave. I swear it loves me or something, anyway I don't expect I will wake up anytime soon. If at all. Well, I'm enjoying my new life at the beach. Yes, somehow I managed to get from jumping off buildings to being on a beach. Don't tell me how my brain works. Dreams are weird ok. But I was just enjoying lying here doing nothing......
The sun was beaming down on my bare legs, warming me up. The fly was still buzzing around my head, but it began to drone into the background..........
'Stupid fly.............' I mumbled 'Rosa, are you awake?' I herd mum squeal excitedly 'No, I'm asleep...' I murmured as I laid back down on the sofa. I herd no-one speak so I sat up again. 'Sorry, I was joking. To be honest I thought that I fell off the roof, I thought I wasn't going to wake up at all....' I smiled as I yawned. 'Rosa...' mum whispered 'Sorry to interrupt, but could I please ask you a few questions Rosa.' a tall police man tried to smile as he gestured me towards the door. 'Ok....' I frowned as I tried to get up. I realised that someone had bandages the cuts on my legs, my arm was still wrapped up of course.
'Ok.....' he smiled as we sat down in an empty classroom, it was a lot of trouble getting everyone to leave us alone. 'How are you felling?' he asked sympathetically. 'Terrible. Absolutely terrible.' I sighed, he expected me to say I was fine. Think again. 'I'm sorry to hear that. But we have something to discuss. Is Robert really a drug dealer? If so, do you have any evidence, or proof?' he questioned as he pulled out a little black notebook. 'Yes Robert is very much a drug dealer, he even kidnapped me and he made me promise that..' I began to blurt out, but then he stopped me 'Ok Rosa, I know about your promise, you can skip that bit....' I could tell he was in a hurry. 'Ok, so we made our promise, then he took me back home, but he put on fake bruises and cuts, he told mum that I attacked him. He also came over to my house the other day and he was going to kill me if I didn't run. Luckily I escaped. But I made this video....' I rushed as I pulled out my phone.
I showed him the video, then he took my phone and he left. I herd him talking to someone else outside, then he went. He didn't even say why. Never mind. Another police man escorted me back to the office, all of the police men had left. 'Mum...' I gestured around the room 'Oh, they all left to find Robert, Rosa I'm soooo sorry, I failed you as a mother. Sorry baby........' she began to sob as I pulled her into a hug. 'Mum, you did nothing wrong, it was all mine and Robert's fault.....I'm sorry....' I whispered. 'I think we both learnt a valuable lesson here. I promise you Rosa, I will never, never try to get another boyfriend. Just you and me forever.' mum sniffled as more and more tears fell down her face and onto my head.
'Mum...' I squealed as my hair got damp. 'Sorry...' she mumbled as she pulled out a tissue. 'Anyway, we better get going....' mum smiled as she picked up her bag and coat. 'Good idea.' I said as I picked up my rucksack with my left hand. Left hand. Urrgghhhhhh.........I just really want to be able to use my right hand. But I can't.
