Sped ahead in the timeline a bit.
-Lucy is about a year old but the Beatles have already performed on Ed Sullivan, etc. just changing the timeline and remember this is an alternative universe for specific Beatles events.
Maggie's POV
John never did come to my wedding. I half expected to march into the church and forbid me to repeat my vows, but he never did. But, time marched on and with the success of the Beatles, George bought us a house called Kinfauns. Something my parents approved of.
Kinfauns was an adorable bungalow style house with a huge field where I made a vegetable patch and a huge flower garden. I finally managed to finish my studies and within two months, I was accepted into London's Academy of Dance where I always dreamed of attending. It was a moment I had been anticipating since my audition and George supported my dancing wholeheartedly.
I made a new friend in Ringo's girlfriend Maureen. who became my personal hairdresser also. I couldn't say much about Paul's fiancée Jane, as she was always off shooting some movie or another, so from the little I saw, she seemed like a nice enough girl, raised in similar circles as I was.
I never spoke much with Cynthia, despite Paul and George trying to get us to become friends at mutuel events and parties. It was simply too awkward for us.
"Good morning love." George tried to pull me closer to him but a lump blocked him. Glancing down we stared at Lucy who was snuggled into my hip.
"What's she doing here again?" George asked raising a infamously thick eyebrow and stroked her hair out of her face.
"She got fussy during the night." I sighed, rubbing her back.
"Her bed is right next to ours." George pointed out and I shrugged and slipped out of the bed while George drug Lucy onto his stomach. She was a complete daddy's girl already and it was no secret that George adored her.
"Good morning my little blossom." George nuzzled Lucy once she cracked her big brow eyes open and smiled sleepily at her father. George suddenly scrunched up his nose and lifted Lucy so he could sniff her bottom.
"She needs her nappy changed. Are ye gonna change it?" George asked me and I stared at him.
I shrugged on my silk robe with a shake of my head instead, "That's not my daughter, that's your daughter. Besides, last night I changed her. Also, she hasn't gone number two yet. Have fun love." I blew him a kiss before heading to the kitchen.
George eventually came in due to the smell of the scrambled eggs and bacon I cooked.
"Ta love." He smiled as I placed his plate in front of him with Lucy in his arms.
Reaching for Lucy I pulled her onto my chest where she reached for my breasts. "No, darling. Bottle today." I pulled the bottle of formula out of my apron and stuck it in her mouth. Lucy spat the bottle out and began to cry.
"Alright. Alright your highness," I sighed and unbuttoned my shirt where she latched on, "So you recording today?" I asked adjusting the baby in my arms, grimacing as she bit particularly hard.
George swallowed his toast before shaking his head. "No. I'm free today." He smiled and I returned it.
"Oh good. I was thinking of inviting Maureen over but since your not recording we can invite Ringo and Paul too." I smiled and George raised an eyebrow.
