KARLSTEN POV

One of the Guards sensed us but since we are older they can never compare to our speed and reflexes. I ripped his heart and instantly he turned to ashes.

When I got to the door there's a letter M engraved with infinity symbol. The moment I touched it my hand burned like it was on fire. Good thing my power can suppress it by now I can feel Ette's presence.

"Go!" Andreas ordered.

I entered for the second time forgetting my burned hand. I keep walking until I found the blazing Dungeons Andreas cool down the temperature and soon we recognized one of the prisoners.

"Morgan." I muttered as we come face to face with him.

"El--der Ka--Karlsten. Mas--ter." He stuttered in his weak voice.

"Didn't expect we will find you here." Andreas has a calm demeanour yet full of supremacy.

"I know you're looking for Ette but I don't know where she is." He assumed clearly.

"Damn right traitor! You have five seconds to tell me where is she or I'll tear you into ashes." I came towards his cell and destroyed it.

"I'm afraid that's the case because I have been in this cell for long time now and I only met her when they tortured me." Morgan with tone of ashamed.

"You left me with no choice." I gripped his neck.

"I ***cough*** AM *** cough*** TELLING *** cough*** YOU *** cough *** THE ***cough*** TRUTH." Morgan tried to answer.

"Karlsten, calm down! We need information from him if you kill him now we won't be able to know where Ette is. He is our only lead to Margo and Ette." Master used his authoritative voice.

"But knowing him he is just fooling us I will never allow to be fool again!" I furiously snarled.

"There is another way to do it let me handle it." He marched towards us.

I let Morgan's neck go while he is catching up with air. Morgan has unreadable actions I swear my patience is way beyond normal.

"Thank you Master." Morgan bowed.

"Morgan, this is not your saving grace because you definitely know what I'm capable of. This will be very easy for me to kill you but I want this as diplomatic as possible." Andreas never want violence since the beginning of his reign.

"Master, I perfectly understand that's why I'm giving you full access on my thoughts as long as you can." Morgan challenged him.

"I will definitely know when you are lying and I won't hesitate to kill you." Master held his head this time.

Every Vampire who is thousand years old has a certain level of expertise with powers. Since Andreas first ability was tactile telepathy he can read someone's mind or memory through eye contact then comes bending elements in his mind that was inherited by Ette easily. Next, time travel or manipulation it is where he met Eloise. Lastly, portal creation since it's the only way to get to the Council Empire.

"Karlsten, Morgan is telling the truth Margo and another vampire dragged him here but nothing from Ette." Andreas response with conviction.

"Then where can she be?" I started to panic thinking we lost her again.

"I don't have any idea where she is aside from the Dungeon she was in before." Morgan broke my thoughts.

"Dungeon?! Why would she be in this place?" I lashed out again.

"As a New Born her embrace was crucial Ette spent one year here until she got full control of her blood lust." Morgan began revealing facts.

"New Borns blood lust is trained only for six months why it took her that long?" I got confused.

"Enlighten us with this information and when did it happen?" Master interjected.

"Master, Ette's transformation is different and she started feeling the symptoms when she was in Poland." Morgan started on details.

"Of course the symptoms are normal what makes it crucial on her part?" I scoffed.

"For six months she experience severe headaches, consistent vomiting and high fever. The only way for it to stop is by feeding her fresh Hunter's blood and killed them after since then her blood lust can't be control. She fed humans too and turned them to be used as guards." Morgan goes into details.

"This would never happen if you and Margo didn't trick her!" I threw him mid-air.

"Margo made me follow everything particularly the killings and taking your sister as hostage for Ette. While Ette was undergoing changes I tried helping her as much as I can so we can escape but after a month she became distant, cold and ruthless. She even considered me as enemy that's why I am locked up here." Morgan got up from the ground.

"Did you know Margo was behind the human crimes in Munich?" I considered his reason.

"Yes, I couldn't find time to tell you Elder because you're not around much. I decided to visit your place but Margo was there I confronted her to stop or I'll inform the Council. Dominik came and she stabbed him that's when she started her manipulation on me." His facial expression hardens.

"How did you break her manipulation?" I asked still weighing things.

"I found my Chosen." Morgan sat down defeated.

"When was the last time you saw Ette?" Andreas grilled him.

"A week ago with Margo prior to your arrival they tortured me again when I tried to escape. Ette wants me to remain here as prisoner until I don't adhere with their plan in killings." Morgan replied promptly.

"This is what I am afraid of the Council will be after my daughter. We need to get Ette before them." Andreas sounds disappointed and anxious.

"Master, Elder Karlsten please forgive my behaviour and for everything I've done beyond my control." Morgan kneeled on the ground.

"I understand you we're manipulated but still its up to the Council to decide. You betrayed us in front of their eyes." Andreas showed compassion to him.

"Master, I'm willing to accept every punishment. As my gratitude I'm giving my life and my loyalty I will reveal all the information I gathered from the start." Morgan bargained kneeling.

"Who owns this Barren and those guards are they all... Ette's creation?" I made the assumptions.

"Yes they do as for the Barren it was Cedrik's plan to make this our place when we stumbled on this during the time we were hiding." Morgan go over the facts.

"Who is Cedrik?" I suddenly felt curious.

"We had a lot to discuss but for now we need to go before they found out the dead guards and the broken barrier." Andreas cut us off.

We helped Morgan out of his cell hastily we were almost near the exit when a vampire blocked us I can tell he is an Elder too.

"You can't take him!" He lunged towards me.

I don't know where I saw him but his face is vaguely familiar to me. I just can't decipher where and when with his hands on my neck I can't really focus.
