MINETTE POV
I was a bit anxious while proceeding to the Elysium and only Cedrik can read me. I always blocked everyone with my emotions aside from him. He was my friend before we became lovers so he knew me well.
"Why are you feeling troubled my sweets?" He stopped my tracks.
"Just the recent news about the Hunters." I admitted.
"Tell me is it the same men who are hunting you three years ago?" His eyes are turning black.
"I haven't figured it out but as soon as I did I'll kill the leader and the rest of them." I brutally declared.
"I will never let you do it alone have you forgotten your fight is also mine?" He cupped my face.
"I know without your help I wouldn't know where I will be. You never failed to guide me especially when it comes to this." My breathing went normal.
"Of course I will support you in whatever you do. Now come on, they are waiting for us." He captured my lips and I returned him the favour.
"Attention her Majesty is here." Margo introduced us while we stand to the platform.
"Margo proceed with the news." I ordered.
"The Hunters found our old location." Margo's started and we heard faint murmurs.
"Are you sure it's the Hunter's and not the Council guards?" Cedrik gave out the option.
"Yes because of their scent." Margo verified with a nod.
"I trust your judgement." I acknowledged her words.
"Men, patrol around the premises day and night in extreme measures." I instructed.
"Right away Majesty!" The guards scattered away.
"There's one more thing I heard the Hunters found the old cabin in Poland including the Hotel room we checked in." Margo relay the details between us.
"It's been three years and we left everything burning. Didn't you checked and followed what I told you to do?" I stood up on my chair.
"I did M until there's no trace left I don't know how they found it." Margo eagerly defended.
"Why are you acting like a scared cat? Tell me the truth and don't lie to me." I delivered deadly calm.
"I just had this hunch if they got the place it won't be long until they get here." She stepped back.
"Leave it up to me I'll handle the Hunters they are piece of trash. I will go to the border and check it now." I threw fire on the nearest torch.
My craving increases and I only take Hunter's blood to satisfy my thirst after feeding I kill them. Although sometimes I take a human but it was never enough so I just turned them to be my men. Cedrik was not happy about it but he knows he can't disagree with me. I have several numbers of men now that's been guarding the Barren.
"Do you want me to come with you?" Cedrik held my hand.
"I can manage besides this won't take long." I squeezed his hand.
"I'll be in our chamber when you're back." He pecked my lips and left.
"Margo, go to the Dungeon and check our prisoner." I demanded.
"Yes M but why can't you just kill him like you did with Hunters? That prisoner is useless!" Margo barked at me.
"I refuse to kill him yet and don't give me that attitude Margo unless you want to join the prisoner. I might be a New Born but I'm certainly powerful than you are." I used my air power to absorb her breathing.
"I'm sorry **air**I didn't **air** mean to **air** do it **air** forgive me." She gasped on the ground.
"Go." I gave back her air supply in a blink.
"As you wish M." Margo scrams.
As soon as I reached the perimeters for my Barren I created a barrier not even Vampires can cross it without any of my knowledge unless they are century years old and I doubt they will break it.
'M! You need to get here fast! The prisoner is about to escape but I caught him!' Margo entered my mind.
Yup! That's one of my abilities too! My clan can mindlink me anytime we are in trouble.
'I'm coming!' I teleported.
At the Dungeon I heard Margo is fuming at the weak prisoner who is now chained with silver.
"You really think escaping is easy?" She keeps on kicking him.
"I will keep doing it! Nobody can stop me! The Council need to know this!" He sternly disagreed.
"Perhaps a little demonstration from M is all you needed and maybe you will change your mind." Margo punched him this time.
"NEVER!" He roared.
"I will give you an option, forget the Council and I'll set you free." I negotiated.
"I'd rather be a prisoner than follow you and Margo! I don't want to be one of your stupid men anymore!" He spat at us.
"I see you're still persistent with your beliefs since you become a threat I might as well kill you right now." I lifted him in the air.
"Why you became ruthless?! This isn't you Ette!!" His yelling is filled with agony.
"I'll show you how ruthless I can be." I gave him an evil stare.
I created a ring of fire around his cell that slowly burning his skin. I can hear him screaming but it excites me more. His pains are victory and melody in my ears. One thing is for sure the moment I use my elemental abilities I see you as prey.
"That's it! Kill him M!!" Margo chanted.
I don't know how long he is suffering from my torture until I got a call.
'Majesty! We spotted a vampire near the tunnel.' One of the men informed me.
"As pleasure as I want to see and hear you suffer more I'll stop for now. Lucky you I have matters to attend to." I controlled the fire to stop.
"Margo, make sure his chain is secured and I will be back shortly. Manipulate or torture him I don't care as long as he comply with us." I authorized her.
I left the Dungeon but this time I made a protective shield around it and no prisoner will have a chance to escape. The moment I got to the tunnel I sensed it was indeed a vampire. Its broad daylight and I can't follow the tracks using my speed. The only solution is used one of the cars but I still lost him somewhere. I returned to the Barren with a distraught feeling.
"Have you found the vampire?" Margo questioned me by the doorway.
"It's already solved there's nothing to worry. Rest for now." I head to my chamber.
