KARLSTEN POV
In a matter of seconds the Temple guards approached us and went on defence mode. I hope our decision to come here is right and we won't die yet.
"State your Barren's name, your rank and purpose." The head of the guards blocked us.
Every Barren has its own name with that alone the Council will recognize the Master and its clan. Vampires have higher IQ level than normal humans because of that its simple for us to remember along with it you need to show the Clan symbol.
"I'm Elder Karlsten from Levatnia we came to talk with the Council." I notified them immediately showing my wrist.
"Proceed to the tribunal Hall the Councils awaits you there." The guard answered.
We passed the dark alley but enough to see the hallway the atmosphere oddly seductive that promises beauty and desires fulfilled. It was surrounded with torches and bats flying high above near the cathedral ceilings.
"Elder, I can sense something not good will happen." Ava revealed.
"Kitten whatever happens don't provoke the Council." I warned Ette.
"I perfectly understand this is no time to act foolish." Ette nodded.
From a distance we can hear footsteps on the marble floors from the guards. There's a Dungeon down below where faint sounds of despair and rage float up into the rooms above. I knew it since it was the second time I came back here from Briella's indictment. Wolves howl is prominent coming from that place including the surroundings in the forest. We keep on walking until we reached the hall.
"We are not expecting you." Countess Belona spoke.
Countess Belona is the only female Council and the most powerful. Her ability is to cause instant death called Necrokinesis.
"What a pleasant surprise for you to come on short notice I wonder how you manage to enter the Empire." Count Sigfreid greeted.
Count Sigfreid is the second powerful he can turn beings or objects into stone known Petrification.
"Forgive our actions Count Sigfreid it will not happen again." I kneeled on the ground so as Ava and Ette.
"Rise and come forward Elder and you too Apprentice I see you've brought us a New Born." Count Giorgio called upon us.
Count Giorgio can induce, generate, manipulate and absorb poison knows as Toxikinesis. The rest of their powers are left unknown and even the Masters doesn't have any knowledge on it.
"Tell us what brings you here on the Tribunal." Countess Belona eyed us warily.
"Elder Karlsten I believe she is your Chosen?" Count Giorgio assumed.
"Yes... Countess Belona, Count Sigfreid and Count Giorgio, this is Minette my Chosen." I bowed as sign of submission.
"You are Andreas and Eloise's daughter isn't?" Countess Belona stood up from her chair.
"Yes Countess and I came here to talk about it." Ette nods.
"Before we proceed to that we want to see what's in your mind without any barriers. Apprentice, proceed to the projection as I have faith it is what your purpose in this meeting." Countess Belona dictates instantly.
"Of course Countess." Ava begins.
I stand beside Ette while Ava held her hand by now I'm starting to get nervous because I know after this the Council will be outrage. The first image was Ette's transformation by feeding on Hunter's blood and killing them then second comes her dark plans for the Barren and as well as the Council.
In Ava's vision we saw Ette showing no compassion in killing everyone including us. Every vampire in the Barren including those in the Dungeons was burned to ashes. She extracted every vampire powers and used it as her key to reign together with Margo and Cedrik. Before Ava can continue, Count Giorgio grabbed Ette by her throat.
"I KNEW THE MOMENT YOU AEE CONCEIVE YOU WILL BRING DANGER UPON US!" Count Giorgio starts to induce poison inside Ette's mouth.
"COUNT GIORGIO!!" I yelled.
I tried to come near him but I was thrown to the side instantly there is an invisible wall ahead of me. I can feel a scrutinizing pain in my bones if I tried to walk or fight it.
"Count ***cough*** I made*** cough *** that plan *** cough *** prior to *** cough ***my arrival." Ette with heavy breaths.
"EXACTLY!! HOW DARE YOU AND YOUR PRETENCIOUS FATHER DECEIVE US TO CONVINCE YOUR INNOCENT!!?" Count Giorgio continued his acts.
This time there was a black blood coming from Count Giorgo's hand. It is the start that Ette is getting poison I can see she's not fighting them because her hands remain on the side and she's not even shielding herself from the attack.
"COUNT GIORGIO THE VISION IS NOT YET COMPLETED!" Ava defended Ette with her courtesy tone.
"It *** cough *** was *** cough *** not *** cough *** my *** cough *** intention." Ette tried speaking clearly but failed.
"HOW DARE YOU HAVE THE AUDACITY TO COME HERE AND PLAN ON ATTACKING US!!?" Count Sigfreid wrathful remark.
"NO!! THAT WAS ETTE'S OLD PLAN COUNT SIGFREID!!" I countered.
"YOU CANNOT REVOKE WHAT WE JUST SAW IN HER MIND SHE DESERVES TO DIE!!" Count Giorgio displeased judgement.
"COUNT GIORGIO PLEASE LISTEN TO US!" Ava pleads.
"SHE EVEN FED ON HUMANS AND CREATED THEM!!" Count Sigfreid added.
"SILENCE ALL OF YOU!!" Countess Belona demanded fiercely.
"We will addressed this concern my way and I AM NOT BLIND but this Apprentice here claimed it was partially done and you attacked WITHOUT EVEN ASKING MY PERMISSION!!" Her powerful voice created a blast.
"YOU CAN'T LET HER GET AWAY WITH IT!!" Count Sigfreid snarled back.
"I command you Councils to guard your temper and let them go and cast away the poison on her or I will induce death immediately." Her voiced filled with authority.
Without further arguments we were able to move and I rushed to Ette's side. She's on the ground still grasping air and having hard time to recover from the poison.
"Apprentice continue and I DON'T WANT anymore interruption." Countess placed indention to the last part.
Ava placed her hand on Ette's temple once again as she concentrates to get images but to our amazement, nothing is coming out from her mind.
"I don't understand I can't channel Ette's thoughts anymore." Ava shook her head after trying again.
"It's because... I haven't plan or thought of anything... please Countess give me a little time to defend myself. After that you can do anything to me but I would like this conversation between us." Ette proposed bravely.
"ETTE!! THAT'S NOT WHAT WE AGREED!!" I opposed.
"I already compromised Karl so please let me have the decision this matter is just for the Councils and me." She gave me uncompromising tone.
"Elder and Apprentice leave us we will call upon you when it's over." Countess commanded.
All we can do is followed respectively and wait for them to return. I don't know what Ette and the Countess talked about since all of us remained in the Hall.
