Chapter 19 - The Private Plane

MINETTE POV

The moment they see me coming both of them parted on their seats. They seem to be very close and it's quite irritating suddenly I felt something that is not supposed to happen, jealousy.

'I mean why would I be? Yes, he claimed me as his chosen but he can flirt with any woman he like right? I should not feel intimidated if he wants to flaunt his woman in front of me I have Cedrik now so he can have her.' I dismissed the thought right away.

"Are we leaving now?" I asked deadpanned.

"Yes the Pilot just announced we need to board." He came to my side instantly.

"Good I can't wait anymore." I walked to the jet impatiently.

Instead of marching towards him I proceed to the ground area where the plane is. Immediately I sensed the crews are human I wonder if they knew who we are maybe I can have some fun with them later I smiled to myself.

"Welcome aboard Elder Karlsten, Apprentice Ava and Miss Ette." I was taken aback with the cabin crews greetings.

"Thanks." Both of them said in unison.

'They are not just mere humans after all.' I uttered to myself.

I went to choose my seat since it's a private I placed all the shopping bags on the couch when I bumped to someone.

A girl was bumped inside a store more like supermarket. First was on the fruit stand picking up something on the floor then another incident on the same location but this time it's outside of the building.

"Ette." Somebody shook me from behind.

"FUCK!! For the last time its Mina not Ette!!" I corrected for the umpteenth times.

"Sor---ry Mina I just thought something is wrong." She seems sincere.

I studied her for few seconds and read her body language that shows she cares.

"Good." I inhaled sharply.

Damn this people why do they have to keep on calling me Ette?! I'm losing my patience and I can only tolerate their stubbornness for a short period of time.

"Are you okay Mina?" She creased her eyebrows.

"Why shouldn't I?" I irritably rolled my eyes.

"I... uhmm... was just concern because you spaced out for a minute." She answered nervously.

"I'm fine as you can see. Now, will you leave me alone?" I adjust my seat.

I waited for her retracting figure and continue fixing the bags once again.

"You don't have to be harsh with Ava." He interrupted my silence.

'I see there are on first name basis this makes me more angered.' I observed to myself.

"Will you stop bugging me for once?!" I snapped.

"Will you stop being rude to us? We are just trying to be nice here." He retorted.

"Let me clear things out with you Elder... you asked me to join this FUCKING flight in exchange of your freedom and my so called memory so I can act or do whatever the HELL I WANT!" I started to get really pissed.

"Exactly! We will be together for a period of time the least you can do is act cordial." He counters.

Instead of bickering with him I opened the book that I purchased. I buckled my seatbelt and was about to turn the pages when he initiated the talk again.
