DINA'S P.O.V
One thing though.
I didn't know that Connor could play piano.
Weakness number two. I couldn't stand a guy and piano without fall in love with them. These pictures I took with my camera, most likely captured him playing that thing during All Of Me cover. I was crying inside how I couldn't stop myself from taking pictures of one person only, while there were other four people on stage. Til a girl in the crowd stepped her foot on mine, snapped me back to earth, then I started to balance the number of Connor's face in my camera roll with his brothers and friends' acts. Stupid. I was so stupid.
"Thank you Jakarta, we love you!" Riley shouted.
The crowd around me went crazy. They yelled names. Wow. Maybe I was the only one person in this world who didn't acknowledge their talent before today.
"I love you!" One girl from my left shouted so loudly that the guys on stage could hear it.
"Love you too." Toby waved at her. Of course she almost passed out.
"Yeah love you too." Connor added.
But something's wrong. Connor didn't lock his eyes on the fan. He did, but to me instead.
"Until next show guys! We're Before You Exit, peace out!" Riley closed the session and all ran back to backstage.
"Hey I need you to come with me." Steve rushed to drag me, again, to the corner of the backstage.
"That face tho. What happened?"
"I need your help."
I lifted my camera and faced him. "Guess what I've been doing."
"No, another help."
"Oh okay."
"There's no better way to say it, but I'm losing a driver."
"Wait. I don't follow."
"There was supposed to be a driver who'd take the artists to their hotel right after the show. We want to keep them safe from potential harm, right? But now I couldn't find BYE's driver. He supposed to be here."
"Can't you find another one? The one who's standing by for another band who hasn't played yet? He might drive BYE to the hotel then back again before you know it."
"I can't. This is Jakarta."
"Right. Traffic." I sighed. "Oh wait..."
"Exactly."
"No. Enough drama in my life today Steve. No."
"Please..."
"Not a chance."
"You'd be really helpful. I owe you ten times of Starbucks hang. My treat. I swear. Please."
"I don't care even if you give me all free Starbucks card."
"Dina I would never beg you like this."
I saw the desperation in his eyes. Damn. Why couldn't I be the rude one, for once. Steve didn't bother to stop begging before I said yes. He didn't care if too many people saw him begging to a photographer while he was supposed to be the boss today.
"I wish I could say you owe me a fancy dinner but luckily I'm the kind person here." I rolled my eyes.
"Thank you so much I love you you're the best." Steve handed his car key to me.
"I hate you."
"I know." He walked to that one green room. You know. That one. "Drive safe. The car is next to mine."
