Some things change. Others don't. But whatever they do, we have to live with it, like it or not.

Every Friday I met with the girls. Rachel, Peyton, Bailey and Sophie went to NYU; Stella, Serena, and I went to Stanford, so we had lunch once a week to catch up on everything, and laugh our asses off about it. I love my girls.

When they landed, Stella, Serena and I were looking everywhere for our friends, when we saw 4 figures jumping up and down and screaming like 3 year old girls. That's why I love them, they don't give a crap about what other people might think of them.

"AHAHAHAHAH!" We all said running towards each other. "We missed you!" Rachel, Peyton, Bailey and Sophie added as we group-hugged.

"How you've been? Do I have to burry someone alive?" Serena asked.

We all laughed. "No it's okay, Danny, Andrew, and Ricky are still good boyfriends." Peyton said remarking words 'and Ricky'.

"You can't blame me Peyton."

"You thought he wasn't good enough for me just because he failed sophomore high school year."

"Stop it girls!" Stella interrupted. "Let's go to Anna's diner already." We gathered their bags and got into Stella's car.

She drove us to a little diner we found just outside the city owned by one of our pre-school teachers, who moved to California. Anna was so sweet. Her short blonde hair fit perfectly with her petite figure, and she always had an old apron tied around her waist. Megan, Ann's daughter, was her mother's opposite. Her black hair had strips of hair dyed in red; her deep brown eyes were painted with thick eyeliner; and always wore her leather black jacket.

"Hi girls. Special giant pizza?" Ann said taking a notebook from the apron's pocket and her pencil behind her ear. We all nodded. She wrote it down and started walking towards the counter.

"Extra Cheese!" We all shouted as Ann handed the post-it to Megan. They both chuckled.

"So, how are Adam and you doing? Any new girlfriend?" Bailey asked, shoving a slice of pizza into her mouth.

"No, actually, he dated a girl about 4 months ago, but we both have VETO power over our girlfriends/boyfriends; and believe me, everyone in this room would have done exactly as I." I said.

Peyton laughed. "Why? What was so creepy about her?"

"You don't want to know."

"C'mon. What could be SO terrible? Bad habit?"

"No."

"Alcoholic?"

"Nope."

"What? Sex addict?"

"Jesus, Peyton! NO! She was a daddy's girl smart-ass." At this point, all their mouths were full of drinks or pizza. After I said this hideous flaw, our table looked like it had been in a high-school food fight. "Told ya."

"What!? Where did he meet this girl? Convention of show offs?" Rachel said.

"Actually, she's sophomore in NYU. They go to economics together. And now she's all mad at him. It's pretty funny."

"You know, I still can't understand why you hate so much every girl he's ever dated." Stella said.

"Because. I love Adam, and he's a great guy. So my job is to find his soul mate."

"And none of this girls were even close?" Bailey asked.

"Exactly." I pointed out. But they were all looking at me like there was something I wasn't telling them. "What?"

"C'mon Parker, you can't be THAT naïve, right?" Serena said.

"What are you talking about?"

"You're totally into him!" they all shouted at the same time. I swear the entire diner was staring at us.

"Oh no! Not again! We've been through this girls! I love him, but he's..."

"Your friend." They said like they've heard it a million times. "We know. But I think you're denying it. Both of you. You're like, meant to be." Sophie added.

"Let's just pay Ann and go to our place and watch all existing Disney movies. Please?" I said standing up.

"Okay." Sophie gave up.

We had our weekly sleepover in our apartment with Disney movies and popcorn. We kept laughing about stupid things, crying when Mufasa died all night long and when I was preparing dinner, I looked at my friends playing charades. My crazy, perfectly imperfect friends, and I said to myself, 'Which freaking movie did Rachel think that has people not respecting personal space in it?' "Oh! Tarzan!" I shouted.

"Finally." Rachel said

"That's not fair. I was going to say it." Serena protested.

"You snooze, you lose." I said.

As I said, some things change, others don't. I knew I would always have the girls, but I was starting to think, what if things change with him? I don't know a lot of things, but I knew I would hate myself if I somehow changed my relationship with Adam for worse. What if?

A/N: Hey guys! hope you liked it. Sorry I took so long to update. Liking Parker's friends? They are based on my real friends, and they are as awesome. Already starting chapter 3.
