PARKER'S POV:
I woke up to a beautiful smell of dew and something being baked. And yes, I like the smell of dew.
I turned around in my bed and looked at Adam, whose eyes were still closed.
"Good morning." He said with his sore morning voice.
"Hi." I instantly smiled at his voice. "Do you smell that?" I asked.
"Yeah, what is that?" He opened his chocolate-brown orbs.
"I think scrambled eggs." I said as his hands made its way to my cheek, pushing my messy hair out of my face.
"You look nice. For the hideous hobbit you are." He laughed. I placed my full hand on his face and pushed him backwards. As the bed wasn't big, he fell off and hit the floor, groaning in pain. I laughed hysterically, moving my head where his had been.
"Oh, you'll pay for that." He said getting on his knees and placing his hands on the edge of the mattress.
"Hey! It was your fault! You're the one who called me a hideous hobbit." I said resting my elbow on the pillow, and my head on my hand. I brushed my free hand through his hair, as a smirk appeared on his lips. We got nearer and nearer until there was almost no distance between us. I looked back at his eyes, staring deeply into mine. He then erased that space and kissed me. He placed his hand behind my neck and pulled me slightly closer. I liked the way he kissed me, and I wondered if he always kissed girls like that, so dreamy and charming. We pulled away and pressed our foreheads together, and I smirked to myself.
I got off the bed and we got out of the room, into the kitchen, where Peyton was scrambling eggs.
"Why does that smell so good?" Adam said confused. Peyton turned around and looked at him offended.
I tried not to laugh covering my mouth. "Ricky taught her how to scramble eggs without burning anything. In fact, she's cooking a whole lot better." I told Adam. Peyton served the eggs on three plates and placed them on the table. We sat down next to each other her right in front of us.
"So, how did it go last night?" she smirked.
At the same time we looked at each other, and back at Peyton. "Great." Adam said, taking a bite of his breakfast. "We ate spaghetti with meatballs." He smiled, not looking up.
"You did. At Disney!" Peyton said staring at me, suggesting what happened because she knew us too well.
After a while of sitting there silent, Sophie and Serena came out of their room. "What are you talking about?" Sophie asked.
"They were just telling me about their date last night." Peyton smiled.
"And? How did it go?!" They asked curious.
"It went fine, okay?" I said smiling.
"It was great." He added staring at me with his half-smile.
"So it's official?" They asked us.
"Yes, we are dating." We said a bit irritated, but still happy. Our friends high-fived and sat down eating their breakfast.
After talking for half an hour, we agreed to go to the beach in the afternoon as it was Sunday and few people would be there late. Besides, classes were over!
"Can I ask you something?" Adam said. We were in my room, teaching him how to braid. I nodded slightly. "Do you think Theo will remember?"
"Remember what?" I asked, moving my head slightly over my shoulder.
"That I wasn't always there, you know for almost all of his first year." He said a bit worried. He looked down and added, "I know it's crazy to think that he can remember his 10 first months when I can barely recall being 2 years old, but..."
I turned around to face him and interrupted him grabbing his hand. "It's not crazy, it's what you think. Look, he'll probably won't remember a thing okay? But what you don't have to do is remind you of that. It was not your fault, and it was not Angel's fault. Shit happens." I shrugged.
He half-smiled. "Thanks." He hugged me. I turned around and he kept 'braiding' my hair. Adam exhaled frustrated. "How the hell do you girls do this on your own hair?!"
"Practice my friend. And besides, we have a bit more intelligence than boys." I laughed. As revenge, he pulled my hair a bit, but enough so it would bother. "Ooouch."
"Parker, want to dance?" I looked at him confused. He knew I loved to dance, but at the same time I knew he didn't like to dance that much.
"Why? You don't like to dance."
"But you do." He said smiling. I felt some weight being taken off the bed when Adam stood up and walked to the other end of the room and tapped something on his phone. He grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the bed, as "Valerie" started playing from his phone. He placed my right hand on his shoulder and the other on his right hand. We started dancing to the up-beat music, and he span me around a couple of times. I smiled to myself thinking how childish and adorable he was.
When the song ended we fell on the bed laughing. I laid back and stared at the ceiling above me.
"Parker?" Adam spoke.
"What?"
"Can you come with me next time I see Theo? I'm just scared."
"Why? You already saw him."
"It's the first time Angel is going to leave us alone. I'm seriously freaked out of a 10 month old baby!"
"Okay, I'll go." I chuckled putting my hand on his shoulder trying to calm him.
"Guys! Let's go! I want to get to the beach already!"
"Coming!" We said getting up and leaving the room. At that moment I thought it was all over, fights, things that boke us apart, or family issues. That we could finally be happy. I guess I was wrong.
As we got in the car, Adam's phone rang.
"Hello? Yes, it's me. What?!" He shouted, and hung up. He didn't say a word, just stared at the phone. I looked up at him, concerned about what had happened. "Angel's been arrested."
