Chapter 11: Nightmares

"El." her voice was uneasy. She dreaded having this conversation. She didn't know how he would react. But she did know that he would want to kill the person who was doing this. "While you were gone to pick up Eli...I took a bath, and then I heard a noise. I got up and went to where I heard the noise and I found this."

Liv grabbed the package from her nightstand and gave it to him. He pulled the disk out "What's this?" "A video of us..doing you know." "This person filmed us?!" "El please calm down...what should we do? If we don't break up then it'll get out! But I don't want to break up with you. I don't want to lose you!" She was crying now, she couldn't handle this anymore.

She wanted it over now. She felt Elliot pull her closer to him and whisper comforting words in her ear while be rocked them back and forth. She soon stopped crying, she held onto him like it was the last time she was ever going to see him. "El, I can't lose you. I need you." She whispered against his chest.

She felt him kiss her head "I'm not going anywhere baby, you aren't losing me." she smiled a little. "Well then what do we do?" "I don't know, but we'll figure this out." "Maybe we should tell Cragen, he'll know what to do." "We'll tell him tomorrow. For now get some sleep, you and the baby need to relax." she nodded and closed her eyes.

She was laying in bed when she felt someone watching her, she slowly opened her eyes, and she was right. Someone was watching her "Eli, what's wrong baby?" she scooted more into Elliot to make room for Eli. "Bad dream mommy, scary monster." She saw his lip quiver, she knew he had been crying. "Come lay down baby." She patted the empty space.

He climbed in with his blanket and bear. Liv rested her arm around him, holding him close. "It's okay baby, your safe now. There's nothing to be scared of, daddy and I are right here." she kissed his head. He put his arms around her neck and nuzzled his head into her neck. "Love you mommy." she couldn't help the little smile that came across her face.

"I love you too baby, go back to sleep." Moments later she heard his breathing evening out, meaning he was sleeping. She held him closer and played with his blonde little curls. She glanced at the clock 2 AM, she sighed. She had to be at work soon, she slowly closed her eyes and let sleep take over.

She wakes up a few hours later, not to an alarm clock, not Elliot, not Eli. Nothing. She rolls back waiting for her back to hit into Elliot, but nothing. She quickly sat up, the bed was warm, but cold. She was about to get up when the door opened and Eli's little head appeared "Morning mommy, me made breakfast for you!" She smiled "Awe thank you baby!"

He grinned and opened the door, Elliot came in holding a tray, there on the plate was her favorite, 6 pancakes with strawberries on it drenched in syrup, 4 crisp pieces of bacon, and scrambled eggs. She licked her lips "Thank you boys!" She picked Eli up and kissed is cheek. She looked up at Elliot and puckered her lips for him to kiss.

He leaned down and kissed her cheek, she pretended to pout. He laughed, he went to kiss her but she moved her head "Nope, you lost your privilege." She smirks. "What?!" "Yep, no one kisses." "Baby you can't do that to me." He whines. She giggles "No more kisses for the whole day." His mouth drops "Baby, it's only 7, how am I going to go the rest of the day without a least a kiss?"

She shrugged her shoulders "Your just gonna have to figure out a way." she looks at the little boy in her lap eating her breakfast. She kisses his head "Now this little man gets all the kisses he wants." He grins and sticks his tongue out at Elliot "Haha daddy, I get all the kisses I want from mommy!" Elliot sighs "Your lucky buddy." Liv smiles and pulls him down by his shirt and kisses him long and passionately.

"I changed my mind, you get all the kisses you want." He smiles and walks to the bathroom. Eli had turned around in her lap and was no facing her stomach "Hi baby, it's Eli, your brofer. I love you soooooooo much!" He puts his ear on her stomach and pretends to have a one sided conversation. "Mhmm, uh huh....yeah..otay." He giggles.

Liv smiles "What did the baby say?" "The baby said that they realllllly love the breakfast, and they want breakfast like this everyday, and they want you to give me some ice crweam!" Liv laughs. "The baby said all that?" He nods, his little curls bouncing. "Well I guess we should get you some ice cream, shouldn't we?" "Yeah mommy we should!" He grins and runs to the kitchen.

Liv smiled and got up after him. She scooped him some ice cream and gave it to him "Don't tell daddy I let you eat some." "I won't mommy, it's our secret." He stuck out his pinky finger, she smiled and hooked her pinky with his and kissed her thumb. "Go ahead and watch some cartoons." He smiled and ran to the couch and watched tv.

She smiled and walked back to the bedroom, she crawled back into bed, all she wanted to do was sleep. She slowly closed her eyes, she had closed them for what felt like 2 seconds before she was woken up to someone kissing her.

She sighed "El, not now." "It's not El." She quickly sat up and there was Nick. "What the hell are you doing here?! Get out!" he laughed "I'm not leaving til I get what I want." "What the hell do you want?" "You." He grabbed her hands, he put them over her head. She squirmed under his touch "Stop! Get off me!!" "Nope, i'm going to show you what your missing out on." He kissed her hard, after that everything went dark.

She opened her eyes, she saw Elliot sitting next to her holding her down "Liv, honey. What happened?" She threw her arms around him and cried. He held her "Shh baby, I got you. Your safe now. Nothing's going to happen to you." "H-he had me p-pinned and he was g-going to r--rape me!" She cried more.

He held her tighter "Shh honey, it's okay. He's not going to hurt you. It was just a dream." she nodded. "Where's Eli?" "At school, I brought him a few minutes ago and then when I came back you were screaming in your sleep." She sighed "I'm going to get ready for work." He nodded and kissed her head "I'll be right here if you need anything." she smiled "Okay."

She went to get ready, she wore a blue sweater, black pants, and black heels. She looked in the mirror, she sighed. Her shirt was getting too snug. She walked out "I'm ready." Elliot could sense her mood change, he decided to just leave it. If she wanted to talk she would talk. They left the quiet peaceful house, nothing preparing them for what the rest of the day would uncover.
