Liv pulled away when she felt something hit her shoe, she looked down and saw a velvet box. She made a confused face, who did this belong to? She opened it, she gasped. It was a 10 carat diamond ring shaped into a heart, she looked inside the ring, "To the love of my life." Liv put the ring back in the box, this wasn't hers.

She turned to Aaron "Look I don't like you in the way you think, and what you just did was uncalled for. Tonight wasn't a date, I love only one man." She handed him the box "And this must be yours." he looked at her "This isn't mine, and i'm sorry for kissing you." Liv took the ring and nodded.

"Thank you for a great dinner." She walked into her house, if this ring didn't belong to Aaron then whose was it? Liv changed out of the dress into Elliot's shirt and leggings, she grabbed her charger and phone. She drove to the hospital.

Elliot had went to the nearest bar, he had drank shot after shot, his vision getting blurred by the second. He picked up his phone, he called Cragen. He waited a few rings til he finally picked up

"Cap, it's me Elliot. I need a few weeks off, is that okay?" "Your awake? It's good to finally have you back, and yeah you can have a few weeks off. Are you feeling better?" "Yeah, thank you Cap. I'm going to be at my mom's. Please don't tell anyone, and call me if you need anything." He heard Cragen sigh, "Elliot do you really think it's a good idea to not tell anyone, does Liv know?" "Liv doesn't have to know, please just don't tell her." "Okay Elliot." "Thank you, bye Cap." "Bye Elliot." Elliot hung up, he paid and left.

Liv had parked and was on her way to Elliot's room, she had walked in and he wasn't there. She went to a nurse "Excuse me do you know where Elliot Stabler is?" "He left." "Left?" "Yes, he woke up and wanted to leave." "He woke up?!" "Yes ma'am." "O-okay thank you." Liv stood there, the ring wasn't Aaron's, it was Elliot's. He was going to propose.

She mentally kicked herself, he saw her and Aaron, oh god, he saw her and Aaron kissing. She took her phone out and called him, no answer. She kept trying to call and nothing. She drove back to the house hoping that he would be there, she ran into the apartment, all his stuff was gone. Every memory of him gone.

Elliot had walked back to the house, he packed all his stuff and put it in his car. He stopped at the door and looked around the apartment one last time before shutting the door. He made the long trip to his mom's, he needed to get away. He needed to leave. He looked at his phone, he had 10 missed calls, and 20 texts from her.

He shook his head and threw his phone on the passenger seat. He made the long way to his mom's house.

Liv had went to bed, she had been exhausted from crying her eyes out. She woke up the next morning, she was anxious to go to work, she could see Elliot and talk to him. She had gotten herself a tea, and him a coffee before arriving at the precinct. She placed the coffee on his desk and sat at her desk.

She was rubbing her stomach when Cragen came out of his office, "Liv can I talk to you." Liv nodded. She got up and walked into his office. She stood by the door "What is it Cap?" "Elliot took a few weeks off, Munch will be your partner." Liv's breath hitched, he took a few weeks off? She knew what he was doing, it was the exact same thing she did when she went to Oregon, he was running.

"Do you know where he is?" she saw him hesitate. "No" he quickly said. "Captain please if you know where he is, please tell me. Please I need to see him!" she felt the tears sliding down her cheeks. Cragen stared at her, he hated seeing her like this, Olivia was like a daughter to him. He couldn't do this to her, he knew Elliot would be mad but he didn't care.

"He's at his mom's" he whispered. Liv wiped her tears "Thank you." "Your welcome, but I didn't tell you." Liv smiled a little "Okay, can I take a few days?" he smiled. "Never thought i'd hear you say those words." he joked. She laughed "Me either, but just a few days, please." "Of course, just make sure to bring him back when you come back." Liv nodded and walked out.

She rushed to her car, she had only been to Bernie's house once, but she knew her way there.

The moment he had arrived at the house he felt relaxed, the beach waves crashing against the shore, the sun shining, the salty air, and the breeze. This what he needed, before going inside he had sat outside on the sand, taking in everything. For a moment he forgot all the problems, and just relaxed. His thoughts were interrupted when he heard a little girls giggling, he thought of the baby.

He hoped it was a little girl, of course he wanted to be a part of the baby's life, but after this would Liv even want him in her life? He sighed, he would do anything to be in the baby's life, being a dad was his most important job. He loved his kids more than anything, with this baby he wouldn't do anything different.

He'd be there for the baby, he'd stay up all night with the baby, diaper duty, playing with the baby. He could imagine the nights with him, the baby, and Liv in bed, laughing, smiling. He laughed lightly, that would never happen, Liv moved on.

He was sitting on the couch after a long day of catching up with his mom, he mentioned Liv and the baby. His mom was ecstatic over the news, she had said she always knew him and Liv would be together. That little part broke his heart, he was quiet a few minutes after that. He didn't want to break her excitement, he kept quiet and changed the subject.

They had finally made it back home, right before he sat down there was a knock. Not wanting to wake his mom up he opened the door. His body tensed up "Liv..."
