Chapter 17: Telling Everyone

Liv woke up, Elliot's arm around her waist, him snoring lightly behind her. She wiggled out of his arms careful not to wake him. The party started in a few hours, she had time to get ready, get the food ready, and then wait for everyone to show up. The whole squad and Elliot's kids were coming. Liv didn't know how the kids react, but she hoped they would be happy.

The only one of Elliot's kids that knew about Liv and the baby was Eli. Liv sighed, tonight could either be a train wreck or could go by smoothly. Either way she needed to prepare herself. She was just finishing her shower when she heard Elliot come in. She heard him drop his clothes and she waited for him to come in.

He came in behind her and put his arms around her waist. "Morning." She whispered. "Good morning." He kissed her cheek. She smiled "Today's the day.....do you think your kids are going to be mad?" "Liv they love you, they won't be mad." "I feel like they'll hate me." She got out of his grasp and stepped out of the shower. He sighed "Liv they could never hate you. Your their favorite." Liv sighed "Won't be after."

He turned the shower off and looked at her. "Liv they love you, your like another mom to them. Your the one they would go to. They won't hate you." his tone with a hint of anger. He hated how she would always doubt things, she would overthink everything. Liv was annoyed, she didn't want to speak to him anymore. She got a towel and wrapped it around her, she walked off without saying anything.

He sighed and grabbed a towel, he walked to her "Liv." "No. I don't need to hear it Elliot. I'll just stop talking about it." She got dressed in her costume and walked to the living room. She sat on the couch and rubbed her stomach "Hi baby, it's mommy. Are you ready for the party, it's when we're going to tell everyone about you. I promise you that no matter what I'll always love you, know that someone will always love you." Liv kissed her hand and placed it on her stomach "I can't wait to see your cute little face." She heard Elliot, she sighed.

If they were going to tell everyone then they couldn't be fighting."Elliot?" "Yeah?" "Come sit." He sat down. "I'm sorry." "Me too babe." She smiled and held his hand to her stomach. "6 more months." She whispered. He smiled "I can't wait to meet him or her." she leaned into him. They laid on the couch, both of her hands on her stomach.

One of his hands intwined with her hand on her stomach. Another hand playing with her hair. She wish time would freeze at this moment. This was when there was no drama, job, or anyone. Just the two of them.

Liv was putting the finishing touches on her makeup when there was a knock, she had told Elliot to go to the store and come back so it didn't look suspicious. She went to the door, she was greeted by two of her best friends, Alex in a cat costume, Casey in a superwoman costume. "Alex! Casey!" She hugged them. They smiled "Hi Liv!" Alex walked in. "Hey Liv. You seen happy, who are you screwing?" she laughed.

Liv hit her playfully "Casey!" "Oh come on, you are so happy these days. Spill, who's the new man?" "You'll meet him when everyone arrives." "Well what is he like?" Alex asked sitting on the couch. "He's amazing. He's handsome, has blue eyes, he's the one guys." They screamed with happiness "Well he has to go through our interrogating and then he can be approved." Liv laughed "You'll approve of him. I promise." They nodded.

Casey went to the kitchen "Where's the alcohol?" Liv laughed "It's in the fridge, but don't drink yet! You have to wait for everyone." She heard Casey laugh "Too late." She came out with three wine glasses, Liv panicked. How was she going to not drink, they would think something was wrong with her. "Uh Cas, i'm not drinking tonight. I took some Advil for a headache. So i'm definitely not drinking." Casey sighed "Such a party pooper."

"I'm the party pooper? Did you forget about the one sitting on the couch." Liv laughed. "Hey! I am not!" they laugh "Alex yes you are. You are a prune when it comes to partying." "Am not." "Are you kidding me! For your birthday you only had 1 drink and wouldn't dance!" Alex rolled her eyes "Whatever." she laughed. She heard a knock, she opened the door and was met with 5 blonde haired blue eyed kids.

She smiled "Hi guys!" they all smiled and hugged her "Hi Liv." "Hey! You guys crush me!" she heard Eli yell. They laughed and pulled away. Liv bent down the best she could and kissed his head. He grinned "Hi mo-Livvie!" Liv let out a sigh of relief. That was close. She picked him up "Hi buddy." He laid his head on her shoulder "Don't worry I no tell anyone." He whispered in her ear.

She smiled "Good boy." He kissed her cheek "Look I cop like you and daddy!" He showed her his fake badge. "That's so cool buddy!" She was about to close the door when Elliot's foot stopped it. She smiled "Hi." He smiled back "Hey." He leaned in and took Eli, giving Liv a quick kiss on the cheek. She smiled "Everyone is almost here." "Good then the faster I can kiss you." He whispered. Liv smiled, a few minutes later everyone was there.

Liv looked at Elliot, he nodded and they got everyone's attention. Everyone was looking at them, Elliot pulled Liv close and dipped her, he kissed her long and passionately. They heard people cheer, Liv smiled "One more thing." She took off her jacket revealing the shirt, Elliot turned around showing his new dad jersey. Liv looked at everyone, everyone had seem to be happy except for two people.

Kathleen and Dickie. Liv's heart dropped. They weren't happy. "That's why you and mom divorced. Because you were off fucking her." Kathleen yelled. Liv winced at the words. "Real mature dad, got your partner knocked up." Dickie sneered. Liv couldn't help the tears that started to form, she excused herself and went to her room. She sat on her bed, tears falling. Her nightmare had came true.

His kids weren't happy, they hated her. They hated her unborn child. She laid down, curled up into a ball and rubbed her stomach while tears rapidly fell. "I'll love you no matter what baby." She whispered.
