Chapter 21 overdosing Sam's P.O.V

"Sam Marshall overdosed on drugs and pills he's in the hospital" My brother called and said to me. "i'm not coming but is he alright?" My brother was going to the Dr. for a check up on his shoulder he broke it from all of the work he does. "yeah he's find but he's not awake yet" he said. I started crying. I knew that I should be there but I told him that it's either drugs or love. He chose drugs over him family well the girls already moved out a long time ago they all moved out the day they turned 18. Winter said that they didn't want to hear us fight all of the time. "just let me know everything that happens okay please keep me updated" I said. "yeah I will" Phil said. I was crying "he's not gonna make it.........he's gonna die...........why would he do this to me?" I kept on saying while pasting around the room and crying. W inter and Haylie walked into the room when they saw me they started running. "mom what's wrong" Winter shouted. Haylie put her hand on my back and helped me to the couch. "something really really bad" I screamed while balling my eyes out. "what tell us mom please" Haylie said. I made them sit down I took the girl's hands. "sweeties your dad overdosed today Phil found him passed out in the bathroom he's in the hospital" There facial expressions dropped. "we need to see him please mom come with us" I hugged them and kissed their heads. "we can go first thing in the morning it's late girls now get some sleep" They wiped their tears and went to bed.

In the morning we all showered and left to see Marshall in the hospital. It was quiet the whole car ride. "umm yeah Marshall Mathers please it's his daughters and their mother" I told the lady. She checked on him and to make sure that he wanted visitors. "your lucky he's not letting anyone else in" she said. We walked into the room he looked normal but he didn't act like it. "daddy" the girls said while they ran ran up and hugged their father. I was waiting in the hallway I could see him but he couldn't see me. "my babies god I love you i'm, gonna be just fine i'm gonna pull through this than i'm getting help lots of help than me you two and your mother is gonna go on a vacation you know after school is out because we don't need you girls to skip college." he said. He kissed their heads and they kissed his cheek. They wasn't letting go of each other. "where's your mother?" he said. "she's out in the hallway you want me to get her for you?" Winter said. "yeah but take my wallet take a 20 and get something for me to eat nah get yourself something i'm find baby girls" He kissed the girls heads again and they left. I slowly walked in with tears. "hey" I said in a whisper. "why are you crying i'm gonna be fine Sam come here let me wipe them tears ain't no need to cry" I walked over to him and he hugged me. "that's it let it out Sammy" He said while I was crying into his shoulder. He patted my back. "better?" he said staring into my eyes. I leaned in slowly. He got the point and leaned in too. "you gotta lean in more don't wanna fall out of this bed." he said in a whisper. I pulled his shirt and made him lean in. His lips met mine and it was the most magical kiss ever. "damn" he said. "you know I thought when I woke up I would see you right next to me but you wasn't locked to my right and didn't see Sam by my side" Marshall said. I hugged him. "I didn't wanna come at all" I said. "can't believe i'm still alive i'm gonna get help than i'm gonna get my family back together the girls are gonna graduate college together and we're gonna finally get married you know I still love you right?" he mumbled. He was about to pass out and go to sleep again. "yeah I know" I whispered. He smiled and fell asleep. He was in a deep peaceful sleep. I took the blanket that was on his bed and covered him up with it. "is dad okay?" Winter said with a subway bag in her hand. "he's fine but he needs to rest now go to school take my car i'll call Phil if I wanna go back home but for now I think i'll still stay with your dad" I said. Winter told Haylie and left.

When Marshall woke up he ate and he asked me to get clothes for him so he could shower his laptop and almost everything else. The girls was there when I came back. I knew that they only went to the classes they needed to go. Marshall was writing something on paper. "hi girls" I said while stroking her hair. "wanna hear" Marshall said "about us it's evil but it's a nice evail" I smiled "fuck it why not what's it called?" I said.
