ALEX'S P.O.V

I know they had a date last night. I saw it on Logan's Facebook wall. Of course he was going to post a photo of Reid looking away from the camera for everyone to see. If I had a date with a girl like that, I'd plaster it on a billboard.

I wonder what she was thinking about while he took that photo? Probably a revenge plot to ruin my life. I ruined her reputation, so it seems fair. My reputation wasn't ruined, everyone already thinks I'm an asshole.

But I don't have time to dwell on my mistakes and feel sorry for myself. I need to focus on the game now. She hasn't agreed to play yet, but I know she will.

Deep down, it's obvious that Jordan isn't black and white. There are feelings behind the anger, hatred and resentment. I don't know what the feelings are but I intent to find out.

The game plan: is to make her fall in love with me. Obviously, I won't reciprocate these feelings. The objective:  I can then use these feelings against her. No longer can she say that she hates me, because there will only be love in her heart. No longer can she try and sabotage my popularity by painting me out to be the bad guy. And no longer can she torment my thoughts.

Maybe if she stops hating me and starts loving me, I won't think about her all the time. I mean the only reason I'm infatuated by this girl is because my feelings are so strong for her. Negative, but strong all the same.

"Um... Alex? I've now scored five goals and you haven't been paying attention. You alright man?" Spencer asks, resting his controller on the bed.

I clear my throat and shake my mind clear. "Yeah...great! Just thinking."

"About Jacinthe? Because she is staring at you all the damn time. You can get her back if you apologise!"

I look at him. "Now why the fuck would I do that?"

"I don't know, I just feel like you need more friends. My sister was kind of right..."

Another thing good (and bad) about Spence is that he tells it to you straight.

"Okay okay. I'll make more friends. Just not Jay, she's in the no-go zone." I chuckle.

A pleased smile appears onto Spencer's face. "I really care about you man, I just want the best."

A rush of affection surges through me. "I know you do Spence. You're the best." I beam, pulling him into a tight hug.

We hug for a while, which may seem weird. But Spencer and I have always been close, and have never had trouble showing our feelings. We're brothers.

"Now, enough of this mushy shit I'm hungry as fuck!" I yell, pushing him off the bed.

"Get your own damn food." Spencer replies, turning his attention back to the screen.

"What a great host you are!" I cheekily respond.

Spencer rolls his eyes. "I only host when I have guests."

I give him the finger and a wink as I waltz out of the bedroom in search for some food.

Downstairs, there's a voice singing.

"If you wanna be my lover, ya gotta get with my friends!"

I try to muffle a laugh, as I watch Reid dance around the kitchen. She's wearing a pair of tiny little shorts and a fitted singlet. I must admit, I was a little pervy as I stood in the doorway watching her swing her hips.
