WRAPPED WITH LOVE

Chapter 9

Abhi didnt go to tej the following morning. She concentrated on what all he said the previous day. She studied all by herself. When tej called her, she said that she will be coming in the evening as she had some doubts and hung up.
she went to him in the evening and got her doubts clarified. At night, all the girls were doing a combined study and abhi was the only one to get all their doubts cleared. She felt proud somewhere inside.
The next day, again she was the first person to leave the exam hall. She wrote extraordinarily well. She thanked tej for his help.

For the next fortnight, all the students were very busy with their exams. And finally the exams were finished.
Its vacation time!

students left to their homes, while abhi and nithu headed to hyderabad.

In the bus:
abhi: nithu, we completed our 2nd year yar!

nithu: yah. The time is passing on really fast. Two years were just completed like two days,if i am not exaggerating!

abhi: ha woh tho hei. And what did we learn?

nithu: ya that question always keeps eating my brain. We havent taken any serious decision about life yet.

Abhi: I wanna pursue an MBA. I atleast have this clarity !

nithu: hm thats good. I wanna settle in a job after btech. But what about our friends?

abhi: i think we should help varun and priya achieve their dreams. The rest of them wanna go for a job in an MNC.

Nithu: so loads of work to do in 3rd year i guess.

Abhi: haha probably.. . .

Abhi didnt inform her brother about their arrival. She wanna surprise him.she spoke to her parents. On the other side, nithu was very excited to meet harsha. He planned a surprise for her.

Early in the morning, they got down at harsha's place. Abhi got ready very quickly because she dont wanna disturb their privacy. She wore a peach coloured top and shaded denim. She put on matching antique jumkas and all other accessories according to her taste. She never gave importance to all these things before. Nithu knew why she is particularly getting ready.
She wore wedges after a long time and it had been difficult to handle those.
Nithu asked harsha to drop Abhi at her brother's place. She already got the address from her parents.

Abhi: nithu iski koi zaroorat nahi hei. I can go alone.

Nithu: bus kar abhi. That place is very near from here. So dont bother. He will drop you there. It takes not more than 15 min,i bet. .and i insist.

Abhi: teekein. Bye.

Nithu: all the best!

Abhi: what! Nithu?? Shut up na. See ya.

Abhi gave harsha her brother's address and he dropped her there.

Harsha: ok abhi. Kaam ho gayi tho you can ping me, i will come to pick you up.

Abhi: no harsha .that wont be necessary. Bhayya hei na.

Harsha: phir bhi. Agar thu call nahi karengi na, sachme yar nithu mujhe maardalegi. Maano na mera baath.

Abhi: haha. . . Pity on you. I will ping you.Bye harsha.

Harsha: bye

Abhi got down the car and looked at the house with excitement. Her lips widened. Afterall, she is going to see her Karthik!!

Abhi took a long breath and knocked the door. No one opened.Abhi , left with no other option called arvind.

Arvind: hey abhi.Wassup!

abhi: bhayya kaha ho ?

arvind: kyun? Will you come here?

abhi: arey idiot. I am infront of your room.

Arvind: what? Are you kidding me?

Abhi: no .I wanted to give you a surprise. So i came here with my friend nithu.

Arvind: what! Are you serious? But, i am far away from my room.

Abhi: gosch! Why did you go today? What do i do now?

arvind: ok do one thing. Just stay there for a while. I will ask my friend to come there.

abhi: ok . I will wait.

arvind calls karthik who is in a movie with one of his childhood friends. He informs about abhi and asks him to go there.

Abhi expects karthik to come. She is very eagerly waiting for him.

And she lost all her senses when she saw karthik coming on a bike.

Karthik : hi

Abhi: hi.

Karthik: so how long have you been waiting?

abhi: not so long ,i guess.

karthik opened the door and sighed her to come in.

Karthik: you hungry?

abhi: umm. . . .nope.
Abhi was dying of hunger literally.she didnt eat anything from the previous night.

Karthik: ok. Sandwich or dosa?

abhi: what? I mean . . . .um m . .

karthik went out giving her a smile.

Abhi thought: How did he know that i was hungry? And how did he know that i liked sandwich and dosa only for breakfast??

He came back after 5 minutes and Abhi was waiting for him, sitting on a couch.

karthik: hey you ready to eat? Come here.

Abhi: yeah.

Karthik carefully put the breakfast in two plates . He handed one to abhi. Abhi was totally happy to see dosa in her plate.
she ate as if she had not eaten for ages. Karthik saw her and laughed.

Karthik: Wow! You are eating like thos without feeling hungry, what will you eat like if you are really hungry?

Abhi rised her head ,frowned at him and within no time, she was engrossed in eating again.

Karthik laughed.

Karthik: "why did you come? All of a sudden?"asked karthik eating.

abhi: woh bhayya ko surprise dena tha. Isliye.

Karthik: where is your luggage?

Abhi: i came with my friend nithu. We got down at harsha's place. He is nithu's boyfriend. I left my luggage there itself. He dropped me here.

Karthik: you should have come here first. . . . Um m.

Abhi: what?

Karthik: i meant.....
You should have come to your brother first! Right?

Abhi: But, what difference does it make? He is not home....

Precap: arvind scolds his sister. . . .tej meets abhi there. . . . . Karthik grabs tej's collar. . . . .
