WRAPPED WITH LOVE

chapter 26

Lecturers cabin:

Nithu replied to the lecturer that she will go with the first option. He was so happy to hear this from her. She had to wait for one more year to complete  B.Tech and her teaching life is already on the way.

That evening, nithu threw a big party to Abhi, appu and rahul. Varun and priya too congratulated her on her achievement. 

It was mid december. Cool breezes started blowing right from the mornings! Trees danced happily to the tunes of the breeze!  Early morning fog made Abhi's college look like Hogwarts from her window (in hostel)..  she woke up early in the morning and stood by the window. She was drinking coffee and enjoying the picturesque view .

She spoke to herself:: Abhi! Look at the world... You always wanted to explore different places.. like haunted ones? No, romantic lands? Scenic beauties? Ahhhh no! Actually you wanted to be everywhere.. But, did atleast one of your bucket list wishes come true?? NO! When abhi? When? If not now,then when? You are already 20..
(She glanced at the nest on a tree. She saw a bird emerging out of an egg and the parent protecting it! )

She thought for a while.

Hmmm. You will definitely get your day Abhi! Jaago ab...

She looked at Nithu. She felt jealous as Nithu was having a sound sleep for the last 10 hours!
She  threw a few things down and made sounds as she wanted nithu to get irritated because of the sound and wake up eventually.
Nithu moved to her left, to her right and again to her left..  she kept scrolling sideways..she covered her ears with a pillow and started snoring..

Abhi: seriously?? How can a human sleep this deeply? And why don't I  get such quality of sleep!! Dekhti hun...

Abhi brought a mug of water and threw it at Nithus face. Nithu woke up in shock and sat straight on her bed. She slowly realised what had happened. She started chasing Abhi,while abhi ran fast to escape Nithus scoldings and punches. They fought like children for a while and returned to room to get ready for college.

(Abhi didn't know that this is going to be the most important day of her life!! )

Abhi's college consists of ideas room,wherein a few innovative ideas given by the students are put into practice and promoted.

In her second year, Abhi proposed an idea of opening a 'speak out your thoughts' club... but then, there were no sufficient funds to put the idea into practice. The head of the incubation centre liked her idea and mailed the details of the club to a University in the UK. He knew a friend working there as a professor. He wanted her idea to be promoted! It took an year and finally, the UK university wants to implement a club akin to the one designed by Abhi. So they sent a letter to her college, requesting her to attend a meeting to discuss the formation of the club and guidelines. They also gave a golden opportunity for her to pursue her final year in their University if interested, on student exchange program. !!!

This is it!!

When the head of the incubation centre called her and said this, she was with flying colours!! London was her all time favourite. Visiting London was the #1 thing in her bucket list.  But now,she can actually study there!

She shared her happiness with her brother arvind first and then to her parents and her friends.

She was informed that she had to get all the documents ready within 20 days. Tuition fee,flight and accommodation charges will be on behalf of the University. 

Abhi always wanted to live such life!

Abhi thought: I would love it in london,exploring new places,meeting new people, learning new things, and rejoicing every moment of life!

Arvind took care of all the credentials needed for going abroad. He made it easier for Abhi. Within 18 days ,she gathered all the paper work asked by the staff of university of london .

She kept dancing inside to those unknown tunes all these 18 days.

Her mother packed all the food stuff at her home.
Abhi's family and her friends plans to go to airport to bid her goodbye!

night at Abhi's room:
On the night of 18th day, Abhi sat alone at one corner of the room. She was lost in her own thoughts. Nithu observed this and went close to her. She put her hands on Abhi's chin and asked:

Nithu: Whats the matter abhi?? Are you scared?

Abhi slowly looked at nithu to reply.

Abhi: Everything changed within the blink of an eye! Its not that this change is bad.. i love it. I just do.. but,,

Nithu: i know that you loved it. But what is bothering you?? Afraid of new place?

Abhi: nithu you know na, i have never been on a flight. How would i manage all that?? Its my first flight and i am all alone.

Nithu: hmmm woh tho hai. I  know that you are a bit afraid of your first flight with no one accompanying you. This, i sensed a long ago. But, i am sure you will manage it.
However, this is just secondary. I need to know the main reason for you being like this(said nithu frowning and depicting a sad emoticon!)

Abhi (with her eyes red and filled with tears): woh Nithu....its so painful. Loving someone in silence and not being able to tell them that they are the reason for the smile tugging on our lips,that they are the reason we look forward to living,the reason we blush when someone says 'love'!

Nithu: so, you still love him?

Abhi: how can i not?(crying)

Nithu hugged her and patted her shoulder. She said "everything is going to be fine. You just have to wait abhi."

You have a great life ahead waiting for you. Just embrace it! And when you are successful in your life, everything comes to you.
And, who knows? Even Karthik might come to you under circumstances!

For the next few hours, nithu kept consoling her.
