I woke up at eight o'clock this morning. Ashley and Ashton were already awake on their phones, randomly showing each other their screen and laughing.

"I'm getting McDonalds!" I whisper/yelled, not wanting to wake up the sleeping Sydney beside me.

I honestly had no clue her and Genevieve lived over here, but I'm glad they do. Sydney isn't (or at least is really good at hiding it) an obsessed fangirl. I think Genna is though, but Calum is okay with that I guess. Syd treats me like Luke Hemmings, not Luke Hemmings, you know?

"I'll go too!" Sydney whispered groggily, stretching her arms out behind her head, giving her a double chin.

"Okay! Go fix your hair, its a wreck." I tell her and ruffle up her actually very smooth bed head. She smacked my arm and I widened my eyes and bit my tongue.

She squeezed her hair into a ponytail on the very top of her head and swirled it around to tie it in a bun. She jumped off the beanbag. She changed out of her jeans and into some really distracting see-threw white gym shorts and tied her Good Charlotte shirt up into a crop top, revealing purple wings that sprouted out above her waistline. She must have a tattoo just like the one Genna brags about all the time.

I smoothed out my hair as we walked over to Mikey and I's house to grab my keys. She jumped into the passenger seat and found some really good music on FM radio. She was one hell of a DJ. She set her bare feet up on the dashboard. Her nails were painted black and she had a silver toe ring on her second toe and a black chord anklet.

"You didn't put your lip ring back on!" she said, poking my lip where the ring should be.

"Dammit! Now how will I be recognized?" I say sarcastically.

"Oh. My. Gaawwd thisisthebestsongevveerr!" She squeals, her legs kicking the dash in excitment. 'Bail me out' by All Time Low came on the radio and she turned the volume on full blast, but you could still hear her beautiful voice over Alex's.

"You know..." I interupted, turning down the radio.
"You have a beautiful voice. Have you ever thought of singing?"

"No. Possible. Way. Would I ever be able to sing in front of people." she says, shaking her head.

"You just sang in front of me?!"

"But I...uh..." I waved my hand in the air in a 'spit it out' way.

"I trust you." she finally says. I grab her hand and kissed the back of it.

"Here's the trick to singing in front of people" I started "Be swell headed. If you know you sound amazing, you have nothing to worry about. If you know almost everyone in that crowd is there to hear your voice, then everything will be okay." She squeezed my hand in response. She leaned over and kissed my cheek, I know it wasnt in that way, but I can't control whether my cheeks turn red.

"You're awesome." she whispered. It's literally been two weeks, and she was already one of my closest friends. We talk about random stuff all the time, but I love learning more about her. She is so animated, she can make a conversation about a brick leave you with tears in your eyes from laughing so hard. She has my kind of humor, the kind nobody gets. She could say a joke and only me and her would understand it.

"Two orders of Hotcakes and scrambled eggs" I turn to Sydney "Ketchup?" I whisper to her.

"No way!"

I throw my hands up in a surrender, pout my lip and turn back toward the speaker "And, like, three packets of ketchup." I finished ordering and pulled to the second window.
