ANOTHER TEENAGE DRAMA

“Should I do this now?” I said nervously.

Monique pushed me “We’ve practiced this for three days. You can do it.”

I turn around going the opposite direction. There is no way I’m doing this. Only too be pulled back by Monique and Alex.

“Guys, I can’t do this,” I beg.

“Sure you can,” Alex pat me on my shoulder “Just don’t forget.” She hand me my IPod.

I breathe in and out. I feel I’m about to faint. My hands were ice cold. Here goes nothing. I walk while shuffling for the music while I stuff the ear buds on my ears.

The computer lab was close due to aircon. Its cream walls me even sick more. There are three glass windows on both ends and a door between.

I stood on the left window near the door. I turn to take one last look at Alex and Monique who gave me a very reassuring smile and a thumb up. Oh, dear Earth swallow me now.

I’m very positive that he couldn’t see me. He had his back to me and he was working on something on Photoshop.

I click the play button and Rihanna started singing.

I was moving with the beat. I slightly bend my knees and started making signs.

I pointed to myself, with my thumb. I don’t know what came into my mind that I made a heart sign and it’s pumping at my heart and I pointed at his back doing the same beat.

At first I find it awkward and embarrassing. What if he saw me and laughs at me? What if his classmates saw me and started videoing everything. What if his teacher caught me? OH NO. But, when I was doing it for the second time. I started to feel confident because I know he couldn’t see me.

I stop dancing like a crazy lunatic when I saw him looking at me, smiling. SHIT!!! Kill me now! I glance around to find everyone staring at me.
