As expected, Monique is still frantic about her phone from lunch until dismissal. That’s how Monique loves her phone.

Monique keeps on bugging Alex to track down her phone but Alex keeps on telling her that she can’t track her phone because it’s off.

“Monique, stop it,” Alex raised her voice. We are exciting the door of our last subject.

“Why can’t you just track it?” Monique snapped.

“I already told you why I can’t!”

“Try it again!”

Alex sighs. “Monique, please. I can’t do it.”

“You can’t do it or you won’t?” Monique sniffed. She looks like she’s about to cry.

“Monique, I really can’t. I’m sorry.”

Monique nodded. She knows it’s useless to argue with Alex. Alex wraps Monique in a big hug. I really can’t predict this two. A while ago they are fighting now, they are hugging each other. I smiled at the two of them.

“Got a room for one more?” I asked.

Alex laugh and Monique wrap her arm around me. I just love them. Just the way they are.

XOXO

Monique’s POV:

Lost phone. Scolded by parents. Cut-off allowance. No date. Nothing could be much worse than this. Whoever took my phone would surely experience worst.

Alex and Reese are recently talking about Trigonometry. I sigh, I’ve lost my phone yet those two were able to talk about triangles.

If only my phone was here.

We are near Alex’s sleek-black convertible car, when I saw Eric jog towards us.

“Hey, guys!” Eric waves his hands to catch our attention.

“Eric,” Reese said, puzzled “What’s up?”

“You found your phone?” Eric addressed me. Seriously? What kind of question is that?

“If I have found my phone I wouldn’t be talking to you in more than ten words,” I cross my arms at my chest.

He laugh “yeah, you would. Luckily you don’t have you’re phone.”

I scoff “Excuse me?”

“Well, you don’t have your phone.”

“Excuse me? You are the only person I know who is happy I lost my phone.”

“Hey, Eric,” Alex said emerging behind the compartment of the car “happen to pass by?”

Thank you, Alex for the interruption. That came out a bit harsh than I thought.

He shrugs. “Maybe.”

“What do you want, exactly?” I said, drumming my fingers, emphasizing to him that my patience bar isn’t high.

Eric fishes something out from his pockets “Is this yours?”

My mouth dropped open. “How…did… How did you…?”

He shrugs “Yesterday, lunch table.”

“You took my phone?”

“Not really took.”

“Not really took?” I scoff “What an answer. Did you know that I got embarrassed yesterday just looking for my phone? Did you know I got detention? Did you know that my parents cut my allowance after hearing this from the principal? You don’t know anything, right?”
