22. Foreseeing the Forgotten

A ForeSeer, that's what I am. The Doctor's ForeSeer to be exact. Every Time Lord gets one whether they like it or not and their life is ruled upon the standings of the visions that are made. If a Time Lord ever finds their ForeSeer, it is said they are doomed. I always went out to search for mine, I believed that knowing your own future was the greatest power in the world, but I was wrong. It's not doom, it's imprisonment in an eternal state, watching your Time Lord's life go by and having no power to save them or others around them.

ForeSeers can be anyone in the Universe, from the largest of giants to the forbidden ants that walk on the tiniest planet in existance. The more powerful the species, the more they can manipulate their gift. A Time Lord has power over the entire time line of their ForeSeed. But if they are corrupted by any evil or any suggestion, the Time Lord can never exist. Nothing can be allowed to exist if madness is brought upon a Time Lord ForeSeer. So the Lord President wanted them all captured and killed. He found me as soon as I was born. Having no power over me until I was 8, he waited, until the day I would have to stare into the untempered skism. He hoped I would lose my mind, but I was too strong.

After that he kept a very keen eye on me and never let me leave the Citadel. But when I served him that day I met the Doctor, all the pieces of the puzzle fell together. He knew I was the Doctor's ForeSeer. So he made up this plot to...

A cold bucket of water splashed my face. My nerves shivered at the sudden event. The drumming came back like never before. I opened my eyes to find the one man I never ever wanted to see again, the Master. With a quick movement I shifted my leg, making the Master fall to the ground. I had no idea where that came from but I liked it. Before I could do anything else, two arms grabbed me and pulled me away. I struggled not wanting to be taken but it was no use. Two security guards held me and I couldn't see their faces because of the helmets they wore. When I looked back at the scene in front of me stood the Master.

"Oh goody. You're finally awake." He said almost in an amused manner.

"Finally?" I asked in confusion.

"Yes."

"Oh thank you for that informing information." I mocked.

"Don't get too comfortable. The Doctor's coming to his end."

I got my wrist away and slapped the Master on the cheek as hard as I could. He retreated holding his red cheek while one of the bodyguards tried to get my wrist. Instead I lifted the tint off the helmet and saw the face of the Master. I tried to keep in my screams but the other body guard lifted his tint and he was the Master too. I actually started to pay attention to more around me. More and more people strated to show up and I started to notice them. They were all the Master. That's when the scream finally escaped my lips.

The ground started to shake beneath my feet. A blinding light came from the metal arch. It filled the entire side of the room. The Master smiled and all the others did too. Out of the light figures started to appear, with familiar colors. The shoulder blades are just the same as... oh no. It was the Time Lords. My head started to burn. There was no possible way I could have remembered them but there they were. The Lord President stood at the front with two women covering there faces and two more Time Lords behind him. He looked around the room until he saw me. That's when a grin appeared on his face and the glass ceiling shattered. I ducked my head as a reflex, until I heard a thud on the floor. When I looked up again, I saw the Doctor lying on the floor with his face all scratched up. He looked at the Lord President and tried to lift a gun but his strength gave up on him. Using all my strength I got out of the two Masters' grips and ran toward him before I was stopped in the middle of my track. My first instinct was to look at the Lord President. His metal hand was glowing blue. I was being pulled toward him. He held me up by the neck, I struggled to keep myself up.

" Lord Doctor. She was supposed to die. Why did you let me down?" He spoke with such authority.

I turned my eyes just to see him standing up in the corner of my eye. The gun pointed toward the Lord President, toward me.

"And she's human too. You just had to save her didn't you Doctor. And you were no better Master, couldn't kill your mother. If you are going to do the job, gotta do it yourself. Thank you Doctor, for turning her human. This will make everything easier." The Lord President kept talking. I felt his grip tighten on my neck. My air flow was being cut off. I tried and tried to keep myself up but my muscles were giving up. I tried to reach the floor but I was too far away from it. I never wanted to, but I let him win.

He dropped me on the floor thinking I was dead. I opened my eyes just a bit for the Doctor to know. The Master looked at me with worry, for the first time. They exchanged some talk and I saw all the Masters turn back human. I heard a gun shot and a machine puffed. The light started to pull me in with the other Time Lords. The Master was killing the Lord President with some blue light coming from his hands while the Doctor tried to come toward me. I lifted my hand telling him not to come near me.

"You're needed in the Universe." I told him before there was nothing more to see.

"Are you alright?" I heard a female voice say as she leaned by me.

"Yeah. I'm fine... Who are you?" I asked.

"I'm the Doctor's mom."

"Um. Nice to meet you. I guess. Where are we?"

"In the Time Lock. So I'm guessing you're Starlit."

"Yeah I am."

"Oh he talked about you all the time. He couldn't stop. He visited a couple of times and just couldn't stop talking about you. When the war came he was absolutely heart broken what they did to you."

"What did they do to me?"

"I don't think I want to be the one who tells you. Come on. Lets get you resting."

"Can I ask you one more question?"

"Sure."

"Am I really the Master's mom?"

"Yes."

Sorry I haven't updated earlier, but I was out of town with absolutely no wifi. But I hope you enjoyed this chapter. Some more plot twists. I was extremely happy with this idea when I thought of it.
