Shizi was the first one up this morning. She had decided to get up extra early to get in a few minutes of extra training with Jingxiao and Yinhua before her second Exam in the Forest of Death. After leaving a note for Kakashi, Shizi ran out to the closest arena and summoned Yinhua and Jingxiao in his reaper form. As they trained, Shizi kept feeling like someone was watching her. She took a few Shuriken from her weapon pouch and launched them into a patch of bushes about ten feet from her left. All she succeeded to reveal was a harmless little garden snake with soft yellow eyes.

"Just jumpy is all, Shizi. Get your nerves together, it'll be worse than simple garden snakes out there in that Forest." She chides herself and continues her training. She said her gratitude to Yinhua and reverse summoned both the calico neko and Jingxiao before heading to the assigned meeting place of the Forest of Death exam. She received her Heaven scroll and was told to wait with the three others under Kikashi. Shizi was the first one at the gate, the second being Sasuke, then Sakura and Naruto.

"Good luck, Shizi. This'll be much harder for you since you're on your own while everyone else has two others." States Sakura as the staring bell sounded. Shizi smiled brightly at the pinkette, though inside she was swirling with pure anxiety and fear.

"Thanks, Sakura. I think it's best if we part here, see you guys at the Tower." She waves at the trio as she veered off to the right to find herself a suitable place to set up an ambush. The plan of her and Jingxiao was that she'd make a Shadow Clone to draw out the cockier, half-witted groups towards her hiding space, where her and her team would attack them and search for an Earth scroll. If it turns out that they don't have the needed scroll, either Avarae or the Great Reaper would heal them and send them on their merry way. She found a tall tree with lots of overlapping branches to hide her from the prying eyes. She climbed it with ease and hid deep within the branches.

"When will you summon the others? It would be wise to have extra eyes to keep watch for unwanted intruders before we even begin our plan." Shizi agreed and summoned her friends and fellow teammates. They all greeted the brunette with silent nods and settled into their appointed battle position. Avarae was at the top of the tree, bow and Genjutsu armed and ready to strike, The Great Reaper was hidden within the trunk for trapping to prevent any form of escape, and Yinhua was waiting with Shizi inside the branches, both with their reaper weaponry drawn. Jingxiao made so that all of them were mentally connected to eliminate the need to speak and therefore reduce the chances of getting caught and potentially killed.

"There is a group of Shinobi coming our way. They aren't Naruto or the others so we are free to attack them, correct Shizi?" Says Avarae from the treetops with a hint of amusement in her song like voice. This made Shizi blush and look off in a random direction, her thoughts now on the bright blonde boy and his safety. Maybe she should send a Clone to check on them.

"Shizi-chan, everyone can hear what you're thinking right now. Lets keep the Naruto thoughts to a minimum please, it takes focus off our survival and the mission. Wait until you are alone in that mind of yours, alright?" Teases Jingxiao, making her blush deeper and run her free hand through her long brown hair. Despite the embarrassment, Shizi shook her head free from the smiling blonde and readied for the fight ahead.

They attacked the unsuspecting group as they passed under the tree, only to see that they had the same scroll that Shizi had. Avarae quickly healed them of their minor injuries and erased their memories before they all returned to the tree. This was the case for more than five hours. Shizi quickly grew bored and announced that she was going to take a quick walk to stretch her cramping muscles. She hopped almost to the edge of Jingxiao's mental connection.
