"Shit", I groaned getting up and found myself in a dark place. The ground was hard, gravelly, and smelling. A swinging light bulb, making my surroundings somewhat visible. The light shined agaij the silver bars just a few feet away from me- a cell. Of course, the bastard put me in here. Good thing he did, because I'm definitely going to kick his ass when I get out of here.
I groaned, pushing myself to lay my back on the floor. As I stared at the grimy ceiling, memories of what happened ran through my mind. Wait a minute!
"Luca!", I called sitting up, ignoring the pain in my head, and feeling my way around. Nothing. Where the hell was Luca?!
"Shut up! I don't want to hear you mouth rogue!", someone yelled with authority and Athena growled viciously
What did he just call us?! She roared
"Where is the little boy?!", I asked trying to keep myself and Athena calm
"I said SHUT UP!", he growled and I gripped harder onto the bars
Just let me out for one second Ariel, Athena begged and I sighed
No killing.
No promises.
Hayden's POV
I sat at my desk, leaning my head back and taking deep breaths. Since last night, my thoughts have been going overdrive and my wolf didn't help one bit.
You got our mate in a cell and you took her from her pack, you are the biggest dumbass I've ever seen, my wolf Ares said shaking his head and I rolled my eyes
I don't care about her or her pack, I replied and he growled
You're fucking disgusting! He growled and I rolled my eyes
Dude, Jayden is here, Nate said worriedly and I sighed as the door slammed open
"Hayden! You've done it again?!", my twin sister growled as she walked her pregnant self to my desk "it's already bad enough that the Council and everyone else thinks you're a murderer, but you keep doing it like you're not going to get caught!"
"If you just calm down and listened to Nate, you would know that I didn't kill them ", I replied in a calm tone, she rolled her eyes and sat down "I took their Alpha in exchange for their lives and some kid decided to be a hero, so we took him too"
"You can't keep doing this, what happens when you find your mate? What're you going to tell them?", she questioned and I froze well... "What?". For the first time, I didn't say anything back, just stayed quiet and a sudden smile covered her face.
"Your mate was in that pack", she smiled devilishly and I sighed "you're a real idiot. Did she reject you? She should, maybe that can your dumbass to snap out of this stupid plan of yours"
"Can you shut up for one second?!", I growled in frustration and she chuckled
"Uh Hayden, we have a problem...", Nate spoke lowly, but Jayden and I could definitely hear him
