We rode in the back, I held Luca close as he looked out the window.
"Here we are!", Jayden announced and a beautiful mansion came into view

"I hope you'll like it here", she spoke as we got out the car and headed towards the front door "Nate, the beta you met is my mate, he spends most nights here. Other than that, it's just me and the staff here"
"Isn't he protective over you? Living here alone and far from him?"
"He is and took me a long time convincing him to let me stay here. The humans are less dangerous than rogues attacks". I nodded as the car stopped and we exit.
"Welcome back, Jayden", the butler spoke politely with a bow
"This is Tyler, he's the head butler here", she mentioned then looked back at him "Tyler, these are our special guests, Ariel and Luca. Please show them to their room"
"Yes, of course", he nodded respectively then turned to us "this way, madam"
"After you clean up, come to the dining room to eat", Jayden called as we followed Tyler up the stairs. Tyler walked down the hall before opening the last door to the left- this place has a lot of rooms.
"Wow!", Luca gasped
"There's clean clothes on the bed for the both of you", Tyler asked and I nodded
"Thanks", I replied, he nodded then left. Once the door closed, I went over to the windows- locked. Of course, but I could just break it.
Luca came up beside me and looked up with worried eyes. "I'm sorry I came after you, Alpha", he whispered hanging his head and I ruffled his hair.
"It's okay, I know you were doing what you thought was right", I replied hugging him "and I promise I'll keep you safe while we're here. Come on, let's get you cleaned up". We went into the bathroom and I was impressed. The floor was covered in black tile, the walls were covered with grey brinks giving it a earth look. The room was split in two by a wall; one side has one of those vintage tubs that stood on it's little legs. A sink was on the middle wall with a long counter and a huge.

On the other side of the wall was the shower, just the shower. Small drains were spread on the floor, the shower hung from the ceiling like a chandelier also a small shelf was on the wall with soap and shampoo.
