I knew something was wrong when the water shifted around and a pair of hands grabbed me- don't tell me I'm being kidnapped- again. I opened my eyes to find Hayden. In the bath with me. Naked.
"Woah!", I yelled back away but he held me close, now we were in a compromising position. I was straddling him with my arms against his chest and he had his arms around my waist with a smirk on his face
"What the hell are you doing, Hayden?", I asked struggling to move and he didn't move a muscle
"I'm taking a bath with you", he answered looking up at me "I can't do that with my mate?"
"I didn't say that", I mumbled and he smiled- ugh, that smile "you should just warn a sleeping person that you wanna join them. I thought you were kidnappers"
"I wouldn't let anyone take you away from me", he growled which caused me to shiver "Ariel?"
"Yes Hayden?"
"Do you want pups?", he asked and I blushed "with me?"
"Of course, I do", I answered playing with his hair as his head sat on my shoulder "who else would I have pups with other than the man I love"
"Good, I'm happy to hear that", he sighed contently then started to kiss my neck "I was worried"
"H-Hayden, not right now", I replied and he growled "after all of this is over"
"I can't wait that long Ariel, you're too tempting", he groaned and pulled me close, so I'm brushing up against him "I want you now, do you know how hard it's resisting you?"
"Yes, because I happen to be going through the same thing. Do you know how sexy you are?", I growled wrapping my arms around his neck "but you have to control yourself, Hayden. If I become pregnant before this war, I'm a target and I can't be that"
"You know I'll protect you"
"Yes, but I want to fight in this war", I pouted and he gave in- he never say no to my face "can you control yourself Hayden? For just a little longer?"
"You're really aroused for someone who wants me to resist", he smirked and I looked away "can I kiss you?"
"No no, not with the way we're position", I chuckled as he drew shapes on my back with his thumbs
"Don't trust me?"
"And I don't trust myself"
"Just one kiss", he whispered and I sighed "please". Without an answer, I found myself leaning forward and he did the same- no I can't. I pressed my thumb against his lips and traced them
"Not yet". He growled as I pulled away, exit the tub, and wrapped myself in a towel. Once I stepped into the bedroom, Hayden grabbed me and laid me on the bed. His lip crashed against mine and a fire frenzy spread throughout my body- shit I'm a goner
"Hayden", I groaned pulling away and looked into his black eyes "it's hard for me too, but we have to wait". He bit his lip and stared me
"Just promise me something", he whispered laying his head on my chest
"What?"
"When the time comes, absolutely nothing will interrupt us"
"I promise, nothing will interrupt us", I reassured him then smirked "now take care of that monster in between you legs. It's poking me"
