Chapter 16: Judgement

Athena's POV

We sat in the cold, close spaces of the holding cells. Other than the slit I made, my dress was now stained with food, dress, and the disgusting dirt of the cell. I was worried, not for myself, but for Luca. I was hoping to get back to him right after the banquet, but this is what happened. It's been at least two days...

I wonder what the Alpha King is like? Ariel asked curiously and I rolled my eyes

I don't care! I just want to go! I replied

"Hey!", a rough voice called and I looked up- a guard

"What bitch?!", I growled and he opened the cell

"The Alpha King wants to see you", he spoke and grabbed my arm

"I can walk myself!", I glared at him and he let go of my arm. He led me to to a huge office, almost as big as a conference room. The elders were there and standing before them was Nate and Hayden

"Alpha Ariel Turner", a huge man called and I stood next to Hayden "thank you for joining us"

"Didn't really have much of a choice sir", I replied crossing my arms and he growled as a warning

"So while attending an Alpha's Banquet; you, Alpha Hayden and his Beta manage to injury everyone in the room!", he growled and I smiled "you find that amusing?"

"No, them being a fucking dumbass amuses me", I commented and he stood "you're the Alpha King, you're suppose to know what the hell is hap-". In the blink of an eye, I was cut off by his hand around my neck.

"You traitor! You helped this bastard kill all the incident packs", he growled holding me up against the wall and I can see Alpha Dean smiling grimly. Hayden tried to help, but he was held back, glaring at the King.

"You dare lay a finger on me! You are a fool!", I yelled and I can my feet lifting from the ground "you don't deserve to be King!"

"What the hell", Valkon spoke calmly and I glared at him "how the hell is she doing?!"

"It doesn't matter", Xander growled and I chuckled

"Her- her hair", one of the Alphas stuttered. The full moon shined through the window of the conference room, onto me. Changing my hair instantly to silver.



"Alpha Xander, you have abused your powers as King", I spoke, my voice sounded different as if another was layered over it "you care for no one, but yourself. It's the same for the rest of you!". I grabbed Xander's wrist, closing my fingers aro it until he yelled in pain and snapped it away. He

"You will set up a meeting with the all Alphas of the North and discuss about Ronan", I ordered and he looked as if he were in a trance "you will find out about his friends and high ranks. We have no time for arguing and disagreements, Ronan's rogues have to be stopped. Do you understand?"

"Yes", he nodded blankly and I nodded
"Good, now release us and prepare a ride", I added, he only nodded and waved to one of the guards. They hesitated until I looked at them, they immediately went to release us from the chains.

"You're just going to let them go!", Dean yelled slamming his head on the table

"Leave them be! You do not understand!", the Elder that called my goddess before spoke and he bow at me "she is our goddess and savior. She will bring peace"

"I have no time for your bullshit old man!", Dean growled and I frowned- they're about the same age... No, probably like 20 years apart "I'll end all three of them right now. Starting with you goddess". He held up a gun, not doubt that it had silver bullets in it. He pulled the trigger and the bullet stung my shoulder

"Well that wasn't very nice", I growled and in a second, I was in front of the bastard "I never liked you and I'm sure the feeling is mutual, I'll do us both a favor"

Snap!!!

He dropped to ground dead and I made a pretend sad face.

"He could've been so useful", I mumbled and turned to everyone else "any other objections?"

Silence.....

"Good, then we'll be on our way", I added "hope to hear from you soon, Xander".
