Chapter 9: Torture

Athena's POV

Ariel? Helloooo? Damn, I guess those injuries knocked you out huh? Rest up, I'll take it from here.

"She's just fine, just needs rest", a male voice in the distance said

"How did she heal Hayden like that?", someone asked- Jayden "I've never seen anything like that"

"I could take blood sample if you want Alpha", the person before asked and I twitched

"Athena wouldn't like that", a way familiar voice asked- Luca

"Athena?", a deep husky voice asked and I suppressed my smile- mate!

"It's her wolf", Luca explained and I almost chuckled he knows me too well "she doesn't like needles"

"It just be a small pinch, no harm will come to here,", the deep voice replied "take the samples Doc". I felt a shaken breath brush my arm and a something wet pressed against my skin- alcohol pad

"I wouldn't do that if I were you!", I growled opening my eyes and the doctor jumped back, dropping the needle and I caught it "I don't like needles, who told you to take samples?"

"I did", the deep voice spoke and turned to him- Hayden.... No, his eyes are red

"Hmph, so you're the mutt that's attached to Hayden", I commented walking over to him and he growled making everyone in the room jump except me "be careful what you do mutt, I'll kill you and this time ain't no coming back"

"I'd like to see you try!", he replied and I smiled awww, he bites back how cute... "You're in my territory so be careful what you say"

"Aww, I thought you liked me? What happened mate?", I asked and his eyes widened- hehehe gotcha!

"That's enough you two, we don't have time for couples counseling", Jayden spoke and we looked at her "while that incident at the shower happened, a group of rogues attacked our pack house. They burned it to the ground. I decided that the woman and children will be staying here and at Jonathan's house".

"Karma?", I said sarcastically looking back at Hayden's wolf, who growled again at me "do you know who did it?"

"No", Jayden mumbled and I sighed "but Hayden's date and the other rogue have been captured. They're sitting in the basement now"

"I'll get cleaned up and changed then meet in the basement", I commented going into my closet and looking for something to wear

"You're not going near them", Hayden's wolf ordered and I chuckled

"Oh, worried about me?", I mentioned and he glared at me- I'm not scared of you "Sorry, but you're not in charge of me there for I have to right to do what I want Alpha"

"Come on everyone, to the kitchen", Jayden sweetly said shooing everyone out of the room. When the door closed, I stripped out of my bloodly dress and everything else then went to shower. Making sure my body was squeaky clean and the cut that I once had was gone. After the shower, I dried off everything including my hair. Putting my hair into a high ponytail then putting on my plain black shirt, black jeans, and black Ewings. I went over to my dresser, put on my Alpha ring and wrapped my bandages around my hands- yes, it's about to get real...
