  Clove

"My milkshakes bring all the boys to the yard," Finnick sings.

Cato shakes his head. "Don't do that."

"Fine then, baby." Finnick pushes the cantaloupes on his chest up. "But just so you know, I have my eye on you, you bad boy." He makes a whip sound, flicking his wrist outward.

Cato scrunches his nose up, shaking his head. "No. Just no." I say to Finnick then laugh as I push myself into Cato, meeting him halfway and our lips connect.

Tsk-tsk. Finnick says. "No PDA with my husband, young missy." He sits down on Cato's lap. "His lips are only for me."

Cato pushes him off his lap. "No! They are not. They're not for you at all."

"Tell me who they're for, then." Finnick says, trying to sound seductive.

"I'll show you," Cato smirks, leaning in towards me and making our lips connect again. His lips are cold and soft, nothing unusual.

We pull away. "I like when your lips belong to me." I whisper.

"Hm," he growls a low, sexy growl. "Maybe I should've stayed there then."

"Then why don't you just come on back here, partner?" I say, smirking. He starts leaning in again. "Oh yeah," I moan quietly as his lips land on mine.

"Don't worry, guys." Gale says. "You don't need air anyway." I pull away and smack his arm. "Ow! Damn, Clove." He grips his bicep.

"Are we going to do this or not?" Finnick asks, fixing his wig.

"Yeah," Katniss grabs her purse. We all walk into the mall together. We're gonna cause a scene and possibly get arrested, but you know what they say: you only live once.

When we get in the mall, Gale, Cato, Marvel, and Katniss walk over to the food court, and Finnick, Annie, and Peeta walk around the giant building. "Excuse me, Miss?" He says to the woman at the register.

"Hm?" She looks up from her phone.

We split up and walk around the mall before we can hear the rest of the conversation.

Glimmer, Johanna, and I walk into Bath & Body Works. "So," Glimmer says. "What should we do first?"

Johanna smirks, grabbing a body wash bottle off the shelf and empty its contents onto the floor. "Oops." She says and we walk out of the store right as someone slips down, making us run out of the store.

"Hey!" The cashier shouts. "Catch those girls!" I assume she's yelling at a security guard.

Johanna takes out a bottle of body mist that she took from a shelf and walking behind the man. "You should freshen up." She says then sprays the mist in his face. She runs again.

We see the others running towards us, food covering their bodies. "Get those kids!" Store managers shout as we run. "Get them!"

"You'll never catch us!" Johanna shouts behind her.

"The hell we won't!" A guard shouts.

Finnick meets us in the middle. "There you are!" He exclaims.

"Mom!" Katniss shouts. "These guys have been chasing us."

"My children?" Finnick says in mock anger.

"Um," a young guard starts. "We're terribly sorry, ma'am."

"But," the other, bigger, older officer says. "These children are in trouble."

"But," Finnick starts. "You need to pull up your pants."

"Huh?" The officer asks and Finnick pulls the man's pants down.

"Run!" Finnick shouts, making us all run. "Split up!" We all run in different directions.

"Can't catch us!" We all shout in unison.

Finnick collides with Cato, sending them both down to the floor with two loud smacks. "Agh!" Cato shouts, holding his forehead in the floor while Finnick gets up and runs. The officers come up to Cato and jerk him up in one quick and easy move.

"Care to explain yourself?" The older officer questions.

"Well," Cato starts. "You see, sir. Um..."

"You're in a lot of trouble, son."

"I know." The blond boy hangs his head.

I run to them. "You can't take him." I say to them.

"And why is that?" The young officer asks.

"Because, if you take him, you take me too."

"Fine by us." They take us both and put us in a cell in the mall.

I sit beside Cato on the bench in the cell. "You okay?" I ask.

He looks at me. "Yeah," he says. "Why wouldn't I be?"

"We were just arrested."

"Technically, we're just being held here until our parents come to get us."

Right then, the old officer answers the ringing phone on the desk. "Clove Kentwell, you're free to go. Your mother's here." I get up and kiss Cato. "Ahem!" The man clears his throat. We pull away and I walk out of the cell.

"Hey," Mom says when I get outside of the office. "Clove, do you mind explaining to me why I got a phone call from a boy saying you were being held by mall cops in a cell?"

"I know it sounds bad, Mom." I start when we get in the car and I buckle my seatbelt.

"My daughter getting in trouble? No, that doesn't sound bad." She says sarcastically.

"Mom-"

"You're grounded."

"Fair enough." I cower out of the conversation.

"Really?" Mom says. "No smart-aleck remark?"

"Nope." I shake my head. "You're the mother and I should respect that."

She reaches over and places one hand on my forehead. "Are you feeling okay?"

"I feel fine, Mom." I tell her.

"Okay, Clove." She says like she doesn't believe me. "Are you sure- ?"

"Mom!" I shout, making her jerk the wheel and miss a semi-truck. "Eyes on the road, please?"

"Sorry, honey." She says and I stare out the window at the sky.

Ah, the sky! My mind wonders. Cato's eyes. Electrifying yet calm. I smile as I think about staring into his eyes. His beautiful eyes. I love the way his eyes light up when he smiles or when he gets excited about something. Everything about him is perfect in everyway. He's smart, sweet, funny, extremely attractive. He's perfect. I continue to smile out the window until we get home.
