MarvelYou know how younger siblings are annoying as hell? Me too. Especially, if that younger sibling is a nerdy, know-it-all, blond-haired, asshole, who's always making you late for school!
Anyway, Cato and I run down the hall to get to homeroom.
"Boys!" A rough voice makes us stop in our tracks. "A little... excited to get to Ms. Trinket's, aren't we?" Snow puts his hands on our shoulders.
"Are we late?" I ask a stupid, rhetorical question.
"Oh, no, boys, you're right on time." Sarcasm coats his tone.
"Go to class?" Cato asks and the old man shakes his head.
"Go to the gym?" I ask, he shakes his head.
"Office?" We both ask and he nods, pushing us in the office. He sits down in his chair.
"Late." He scoffs. "Your parents are going to be so unhappy."
"Yeah. Yeah. Mom and Dad will be super mad." Cato looks out the window at Clove walking by with Johanna and Katniss.
"I'm not finished," the man snaps, raising a finger as a way to silence him before he says anything else.
"I'm sorry. Proceed."
"You two boys will make up the time you were late by cleaning my office, starting tomorrow."
"What?" I shout, jumping out of my seat.
"Isn't there another way?" Cato asks.
"Yes," Snow says, smiling. "You can study extra hard for that exam you must take, my geeky grandson."
"Well, that's not so bad." The blond boy smiles.
"In the library." Snow smirks.
"But—"
"You may go now." He dismisses us.
"This is so stupid," Cato mutters under his breath as we walk out the door. "Clove!" He runs down the hall to her and wraps an arm around her shoulders.
"Hey," she says, smiling.
"Thought you'd never get out of that office, Blondie," Johanna chuckles.
"Office?" Clove asks, cocking her head to the side. "When'd you go to the office?"
"I was just in there a few minutes ago," he replies.
"Why?"
"Marvel and I were late so now we have to make it up." He rolls his eyes.
"Oh," she says. "I'm sorry, babe." She smiles at him.
"It's alright, I guess." He smiles and shrugs. "Could be worse."

"This cannot be any worse!" Cato says slamming a book on the table.
"Relax, Cato, it's not like anyone—" I get cut off by heels clicking against the tiled floor.
"Hey, Marvel." Glimmer smiles and kisses my cheek. "Cato? Are you— are you... studying?" She furrows her eyebrows.
Cato's eyes grow as wide as saucers as he throws the book behind a bookcase. "Me? Studying? No. No studying here," Cato laughs nervously.
"You were studying," she narrows her eyes.
"No, I wasn't."
"Yes, you were. Nerd alert!" Glimmer shouts, laughing. Cato's cheeks flush pink and he sits down, laying his head on the table, embarrassed.
"Leave him alone, Glim," I tell her, making her become serious.
"Excuse me?" She glares at me. "What did you say?"
"I said, leave him alone."
A/N: Dum. Dum. Dum! Damn, I love cliffhangers. I know. I know. It's been forever since I updated but I've suffered writer's block. Never fear! The queen has returned! Okay, thank all of you that gave me ideas. I'll be sure to include you in the next chapter because, you know, I'm not gonna be a bitch that takes all the credit. I didn't do this alone. I'd would like to thank my best friend itgirl188 for helping me on my stories. This chapter will be continued in Glimmer's POV. I'm still taking ideas, mainly because I love your ideas and I'm still suffering from writer's block. So, I thought I'd leave you in suspense... until the next chapter. *Laughs evilly, wringing hands together*
