I walked backstage holding Noelle in my arms and Val by our side. OMG, who is this!? Bindi asked running over to us. I laughed. This is my niece and Val's new best friend, Noelle. I'm babysitting her for a few days. OMG, aren't you just the cutest! Bindi said beaming at Noelle. Noelle buried her face in my neck and I laughed. She's shy. I said with a laugh. Bindi smiled at us. Hey, did Derek come with you guys? she asked. Val nodded. He's out getting his bags, he should be in soon. Val said. Great. she said. Well, I'll see you guys later. she said smiling at us and walking away. Artem came out from a corner and pulled me in for a hug. He pulled away and looked at Noelle. Hello again, sweetie. he said smiling at her. A blush worked on her cheeks. You know, she would not shut up about you last night. I said with a laugh. Well, can you blame her? he asked with a smirk. I rolled my eyes and laughed. She was wild last night from all the candy you gave her! I exclaimed. Noelle looked at me. Was not! she exclaimed. We all laughed. But I have to go get her some earphones. I said. Artem nodded. I'll come with you. he said. I nodded. I'll see you later. I said kissing Val. he smiled at me and kissed Noelle's head. Good luck. I said smiling at him. He smiled and winked at me as he walked to his dressing room. Artem lead us into the direction to get some earphones. So, looks like thing between you two are going well. he said as we walked. I smiled. Yeah, Val and I are great; I've never been happier. I replied. He smiled. I'm really happy for you two. he said. I smiled. Thanks Artie. I smiled as he opened the door to a room and walked inside. Some of the stage hands were seated working on stuff. Hey Artem, how can we help you? one of the guys asked. Hey, I need a pair of headphones for one of my friends. he said. The guy got up. What size? he asked. Artem looked at Noelle. Smallest you've got. he replied. Noelle stuck out her tongue at him and we laughed. The guy pulled out a pair and handed them to him. Here you go. he said. Thank you very much. he said. The guy nodded and turned his attention to us. Enjoy the show, you two. he said smiling at us. Thanks! I replied and followed Artem out of the room. He handed the headphones to me and I put them on Noelle's ears. So, where are you sitting? he asked. Front row. I replied. I don't want Noelle to be upstairs with everything going on. I said. He nodded agreeing with me. We arrived at the stairs. Well, enjoy the show; I'll see you later. he said hugging me and waving at Noelle. She waved shyly back and I laughed. I walked downstairs and found my seat with my name on it. I heard someone call my name. I turned to see Juliane. And who is this cutie? she asked. This is my niece, Noelle. I said smiling. Aw, isn't she just the cutest thing ever! she exclaimed smiling at Noelle. She's really shy. I said with a laugh. Juliane smiled. They usually are at that age, well; I hope she enjoys the show tonight. she said. I'm sure she will. I said with a smile. Long as you give Val a good score. I said winking at her. She laughed and smiled at me. We'll see. she said walking to her judges seat. I sat down in my seat and put Noelle in my lap. People started coming into the arena, so I knew the show was getting ready to start.
