Weekend

I walked into the wedding chapel with Peta by my side. This was the weekend..Val and I were getting married. I looked around at the chapel. It was beautifully decorated. Their was a chandelier hanging above the altar. I sighed and looked at Peta. Am I really doing this? I asked. She looked at me with a smile. Having second thoughts? she asked. I shook my head. Never, it all just still feels like a fairytale. I said walking up to the altar and looking at the collage of photos of Val and I. My eyes caught the picture of Val and I at the night at DWTS when he proposed. I smiled. Peta walked up to me. He really does love you. he said. I looked at her and smiled. I know. I said with a smile. We walked into the makeup area and looked around. My wedding dress caught my eye. I walked over and ran my fingers along it. We really did pick out a beautiful dress. Peta said smiling at it. The dress I picked out was long, sparkly, and had a black lace belt. I smiled. I can't thank you enough for helping me out with everything. I said hugging Peta. She smiled. Hey, that's what sisters are for. she said. I smiled. So, you ready to head back to the hotel? she asked. I nodded as she lead us out of the chapel and out to her car. We got in and headed back towards the hotel.

When we arrived back at the hotel we walked into the hotel room to see Maks and Val trying to open a bottle of alcohol. I glanced at Peta. Remind me again why we're marrying these two? I asked with a laugh. She laughed as they glanced up at us. Ladies. Val said. I rolled my eyes. Do you need some help? I asked. Maks shook his head. No, I got it. he said grabbing a spoon. He handed Peta his phone. Film this. he said. I sat down on Val's knee and watched as Maks sticked the spoon on the cork a few times and pushed it down into the bottle. He poured the alcohol into the bottles. What? I exclaimed with a laugh. Maks looked back at me and smiled as Peta stopped recording. You drinking? he asked. I shook my head. I don't think I should. I said. Val nodded. Yeah, no drinks for her. he said. But, me on the other hand..Maks walked over and handed him a glass. I laughed as he took a sip. So, how's the chapel looking? he asked. It's amazing, I think you'll be very impressed. I said. He smiled and kissed my cheek as I leaned back into him. I know it'll be amazing. he said. I smiled. Oh bro, we have to pick up our tuxes in the morning. Val said. Maks nodded. Which suit did you pick? I asked. Val shook his head that was sat on my shoulder. Now if I told you, that would ruin the surprise. he said. I rolled my eyes. Fine. I said with a laugh. And Jamaica's dress is gorgeous. Peta said. I smiled at her. What's it look like? Maks asked. Peta whispered in his ear and a smile formed on his lips. Her baby bump even looks good in it. Peta said with a laugh. Maks and I laughed. You're going to look beautiful, Ramaka. Maks said. I smiled. Thanks bro. Wait, hold on; how come they get to know and I can't? Val asked. Because, that ruins the surprise. I said kissing his cheek and freeing myself from his lap. I walked to the hotel room door. Where are you going? Val asked. I pulled out my phone as I felt it vibrate in my pocket. We have a couple visitors downstairs. I said with a smile as I walked out of the door. I walked downstairs to see Nick and Noelle in the lobby. I smiled as Noelle noticed me. Aunt Jamaica! she exclaimed. I smiled as she ran to me and I slowly picked her up and hugged her. Hey sweetie. I said with a smile as I kissed her cheek. Nick walked over with their bags and smiled. Wow..he said. I looked at him. I can't believe my little sister is getting married. he said. I laughed with a smile as he hugged me. I'm proud of you. he said. I smiled. Thanks bro. I said as I lead them to our hotel room. Who's here so far? he asked. So far just you, Noelle, Peta, Maks, Val, and I. I said. He nodded as we arrived at our hotel room door and I slid my key and opened it. We walked into the room and the first person Noelle saw was Val. Uncle Val! Noelle exclaimed. Val looked up from his phone and smiled at her. Val picked her up in his arms and kissed her head. Muwah, what's up sweetie? he asked sitting her on his leg. We all smiled and watched them. You know, he's going to make a really great Dad. Nick said from beside me. I looked at him and smiled. Yeah, he is. I said with a smile. And an even better husband. I said walking and sitting down next to them.
