I remember the good ol' days when this thing got updated multiple times a week on the regular...*sigh* damn Septiplier...

Sum-sums: Harry apparently grew some bludgers downstairs and thus created a domino effect of his flirtatious adventures with poor Dray here.

Sooo Voldemort never happened, yeah? Merope miscarried. We good? Kewl, kewl.

It had started when Draco first came to Hogwarts for his seventh year of education. He could almost feel the shift as he walked in. He was one of the first students in there, as always, and even though nothing apparent had changed, he could sense it. As the Hall began to fill, expanding and shifting, the tables lengthening to accommodate all the students, Draco stared around. What was that tangible feeling he could sense? Something had changed.

His little life was very boring. He didn't have much excitement in it. He went to school and then went home, and repeated to process. The only entertainment he got out of anything anymore was Harry Potter, he little scrawny kid who he favored picking on.

Draco smirked, thinking of the glasses he had broken countless times. He didn't do it with many people, but there was something about Potter that made it so fun to pick on him. And the little (they were in the same year, but no matter. Draco was taller by a few inches, and had more meat on his bones) Gryffindor never told. It was only when they were caught that they got sent to detention. Which, admittedly, wasn't often, as Draco usually had impeccable timing.

But, no, something was wrong. Nothing exciting every happened anymore. He could feel the shift. Something was wrong. Draco's eyes flickered over to Potter (who was usually the thing that ruined whatever Draco was doing or attempting to do) only for them to narrow to thin slits.

Potter changed. That's what had happened. How dare Potter cause him all that excitement only for it to be so insignificant as Potter getting a bit more in shape and losing the glasses! All that, for puberty? Unbelievable. Draco huffed, and slouched in his seat. Damn Potter, making him all excited for nothing. Draco crossed his arms over his chest, glaring heatedly at Potter.

As thought Potter could feel his stare, Harry lazily moved his head, chin resting on his palm as he stared at Draco with lidded eyes, a slow, seductive smirk curling his lips as he realized Draco was looking at him. Harry winked, and went back to his conversation with Seamus.

Draco blinked.

There were more things wrong with Potter than he had originally thought.

Draco left the Great Hall after dinner, not enjoying it half as much as he knew he should (it would be his last Welcoming Feast), but his mind was full of Potter that he was struggling to understand. Damn Potter. Distracting him.

As he walked out, he happened to glance at him, not thinking he would actually be able to find the boy, let alone make direct eye contact with him. But they did. Potter did it on purpose, he knew, because the man had been looking right at him, winking quickly once he assured eye contact, before walking on like nothing had changed.

Draco's foot steps stuttered, causing a fourth year to dump into him, not that he really noticed. What was wrong with Potter? Where was the small teenager who had glared at him every chance he got, who was only happy to make crude gestures at Draco? Mind full of Potter's new, slightly chiseled features, Draco walked to his dorms.
