Chapter 3: "You're a butt, Poohpiggy!"

A/N: Another author's note at the top :) I dedicated this to another beloved author :) I love "Him and Me" please take time to read it :)

"It's your love that's strong. It's the only thing that keeps me holding on. But it's your heart that's weak. But it's not too weak to bring it back to me"

~

I went upstairs to my room having the feeling that this won't turn out right. I'm having the feeling that something bad might happen because it's a long time since our families spent time together like this. They normally say 'hi' whenever they see each other in the neighborhood, yes, they talk and they are still close friends but when me and Gavin decided to be 'strangers', things changed.

I admit that I enjoy remembering the moments I shared with Gavin, but it seems like he didn't care about it anymore, is it really the time to move on and forget about whatever we had?

As I passed by, I noticed a few picture frames that had so many memories. There was one when I was a baby, one when my mom and dad got married, both had happy smiles on. One picture was me being fed by my mom, I looked terrible with all the baby food on my face but you can't blame me, I was two! One picture was my mom and Mrs. Hudson side by side. The last picture? Me and Gavin, I had a flower in my hands and Gavin had his arm over my shoulders. We both made goofy grins and I see mine and his dad photo bombing it with them looking like girls at the back.

You know what I can't stand? Flashbacks, I hate those. They don't help at all. Just when I thought of that, a flashback from our childhood came running through my mind:

"Mr. Farty! My mommy said that we'll be going soon. They're gonna drop us again at the ice cream parlor we're always at! Isn't that exciting?"

"Mr. Farty's going to get dressed now. Here, take this, Poohpiggy"

Gavin a.k.a Mr. Farty gave me a flower, he said it was the prettiest in their garden.

"Why did Mr. Farty give me this flower?"

"Because it reminds Mr. Farty of Poohpigggy." He gave me a reassuring smile.

"Thank you, but I think we need to get ready. Poohpiggy wants some ice cream!"

"Take care of the flower, Poohpiggy. It's pretty"

"I promise to, Mr. Farty."

"Last one to get inside the house is a horse's butt!"

"What's a butt? And how did you know it, Mr. Farty?"

"I hear my brother say to his classmates that they look like butts. It sounds funny" he chuckled.

After that he ran to the door leaving me behind.

"You're a butt, Poohpiggy!"

"That's unfair! You're a butt! not me! I shall call you Farty-Butt from now on!" I whined

"Bye!" he said going inside the house. Then there was the five year old Savannah blushing over the flower in my hands.

"Savannah! Time to leave!" I heard my dad shout from the living room which I was thankful for. Maybe if he didn't do that, I'd still be dreaming about the childhood friend I dearly miss. With so many memories of us, it's hard to move on from it. And I'm guessing they're already excited so I can't not go with them.

"Just a sec, dad!" I shouted back and grabbed whatever I could in my closet.

I ended up wearing a simple white shirt and a floral skirt that's just above the knees. I tied my hair in a messy bun and slipped on my flats. When I was finally contented with my look, I hurriedly went down in the living room where my mom and dad was waiting for me. I was surprised to see that my mom went out of bed, maybe she really liked to spend time with them, I can't blame her, the Hudsons are really nice people. They're like the family that anyone can count on.
