Chapter 9: "Cut the crap, Savannah"
"Every girl deserves a guy that could make her forget that her heart was ever broken"

"Stop it, Daniel. Give me the damn phone" I said while pushing him causing him to crash head first to the ground.
Confused? Let me explain. After the exhausting trip with Megan and Daniel, Megan went home to get some rest, I wouldn't blame her tough since she wore five inch heels and we went to dozen of stores. That must've made blisters on her feet now. Daniel decided to stay at my place and he's got my phone, he's convincing me to call Gavin and fix things up, I don't even know why I still have his number. I told Daniel that I haven't used it for a good four years now but he's still convincing me on patching things up with my former bestfriend. Damn you, Daniel.
"No! Just please message him a 'hi'?" he said while rubbing his head that hit the carpeted floor. What a douche, oh I should call him that. Maybe 'doucheniel' or 'danouche'. Nevermind.
"Never! I told you if you miss him, just go to his house. I don't need to 'fix' things up with him." I said keeping my voice as convincing as possible.
"Really? Then prove it" He replied with one brow raised and his arms folded over his chest.
"Prove what?"
"That you don't need fixing up and everything's okay between you and Gavin, which I'm sure that's not even close to okay."
"I don't need to prove anything to you, Weston" I said standing up so I'm taller than him sitting down and putting my hands on my waist to look intimidating.
"If you want your phone back, you'd surely do it" He challenged.
Oh no, not my baby. My phone's always been my bestfriend. Plus if anything happens to it, I'm sure my parents won't buy me a new one instantly, I just convinced them since they always think that gadgets are just distractions in my studying.
"And how can I do that, royal pain in the ass?" I said bowing to him like an idiot.
"Simple, go to his house with me"
"What? No." I said rather faster than I wanted to.
"Why? Scared that you'll be proved wrong and you do need help? Let loose Savannah, I know why you're acting so tense is because Gavin's involved in this situation. Just think about it, you and Gavin friends? Maybe acquaintances again, it'll be alright, I promise" Daniel said getting up now he's taller than me. I stare at his eyes for a moment and there's hope and concern filling his blue orbs.
"What if something goes wrong?" I ask thinking that he'll sense that I really didn't want to go.
"Nothing's gonna be wrong, there's no harm done if you just want to talk about things, right? Besides, I really want to see Gavin" He insisted.
"Look who's talking. Maybe all those hot guys we saw turned your masculinity upside down" I said with a smirk
"I just miss my bud, okay? Don't you ever question my gender again, understood, Roberts?" He said calling me by my last name.
"Okay?"
"Let's go" He said grabbing me by the arm and smiling like the douche he is. "I'm gonna enjoy this" He added.
Oh God, am I ready for this?
What if I embarrass myself?
What if I make things worse between us?
I just couldn't stand being in this situation.
