Chapter 11: "Like we used to"
"All the little things that annoyed you are actually the little things that you're gonna miss the most"

"Daniel! Would you stop doing that?" I said for the millionth time but still, Daniel won't stop poking me
"But Gavin. H-he's here. After last night, what happened?" He said trying to feel calm.
A few minutes before, Megan picked me up but then Gavin insisted that he should come with. But because Megan wasn't able to see him last night, she missed him and quickly said 'yes'. I really didn't chose to. Zach sent me a text message saying that we could talk some other time when the 'dickhead' (his words, not mine) cools off.
So here I am trying to calm Daniel down. He feels guilty, typical Daniel.
"What happened?" He repeated.
"Don't worry, it's all fine now." I said in a calming tone.
"I'm so sorry, Savannah. I didn't expect that it would end like that" He said walking back and forth across the room, arms crossed over his chest
"Calm down, Daniel. I told you, it's fine" I said with a smirk on my face
"What's so funny?" He stopped and looked at all of us.
It wasn't long until Gavin burst out laughing and Megan followed. I in the other didn't want to upset Daniel, but couldn't resist it as I spoke in between chuckles.
"You- D-Daniel. Stop it!" I said
Daniel grunted as he made his way up to his room while we were still here in the living room
"Fancy explaining why you're here?" Megan said "With him?" she added referring to Gavin
"I can hear you" Gavin said
"I know" Megan replied before turning her gaze to me again.
"What?" I asked
"Explain, dummy" She said playfully nudging my arm
"There's not much to explain" I said
"I'll make it up to her" Gavin said earning mine and Megan's attention
"What?" Megan asked shocked.
"I'll make it up to her, we're gonna go back to the times that I messed up" He explained
"I see" Megan said rubbing his chin acting like a detective and all "So why'd you only thought of that now?" she added.
"I don't know, I guess I was stupid, dumb, idiotic, egoistic, ignorant, pathetic, cra-"
"We get it" I said cutting him short
Gavin chuckled and Megan stayed quiet staring at me. Well, this is awkward.
"Earth to Megan!" I shouted
Megan looked at me, then Gavin, then me again then..
"Megan! What are you doing?" Gavin shouted
"I get it now" She said still staring
"Get what?" Me and Gavin asked at the same time.
"You never know how much you really love someone until you watch them love someone else." She replied before standing up and going upstairs leaving me and Gavin behind. Maybe to check on her brother.
"What was that about?" Gavin asked as he looked at Megan going up, still confused to what she said. Megan didn't really answer our question, she left us hanging here without a clue.
