Here I am, walking down the corridors of our school, Gavin beside me and a crowd forming wherever we passed by.

We arrived minutes before, I thought this day would be a good one, since what my teacher always says 'Be happy on Mondays, because if you get pissed, the whole week would be ruined' And it was true. Unfortunately, my day got worse with the death glares I've been receiving. Girls would kill for my spot tright now, I know Gavin's not that rich and all, but he is the hottest guy that walked earth, plus he's athletic and smart, I bet he doesn't need money to go to a good university in college because probably, he'll get a scholarship.

Last week, me and Gavin wanted to rip each other's head off, and now here we are, walking side by side with big smiles on our faces.

"What the hell is going on?" Sophie Carter happened to stop us on our tracks and confront us. Her skirt barely covering anything and her cleavage proving the idea of her being a total slut.

"And you!" Sophie said pointing to me "What do you think you're doing? You think you can happily walk in here and think you're one of us? You don't belong here, sissy" She said as the crowd was getting bigger.

As I was about to insult her enormously large, fake and messed up boob job, again, Gavin answered for me

"Will you excuse us? Me and my bestfriend.." Gavin said nudging my arm "are walking without any care in the world. How about you? Mommy bought you extra small clothes? Cover up Sophie, you look desperate." He said and we were all in total shock. What we knew as that Sophie and Gavin were the 'king' and 'queen' in the school and they were always seen together. Oh Gavin, what are you trying to do?

"What did you just say to me?" Sophie walked closer to Gavin shoving me to the crowd in the process, her fist clenched and her face was crimson red.

"I said cover up. No one wants to see that-" Gavin said looking at Sophie from head to toe "fake and crappy face of yours. Now think twice whenever you're gonna do something to Savannah again, you'll never know what I'm capable of, Carter"

And with that, Gavin took me by the arm and we pushed through the crowds, leaving Sophie there, her mouth was hanging open. We never expected this from Gavin, he's the caring, love able guy that anyone can trust. If you ever get an insult from him, then you truly are what he just said. He never lies. Especially about his thoughts, that's what makes him loved by the school. If he likes you, he'll be nice to you. If he doesn't, which he barely does to anyone, he'll say it right away and will try to fix you. He's a hero, isn't he?

"What just happened?" I questioned, raising one eyebrow at him with a smirk. I know it's a dumb question since he obviously humiliated Sophie Carter in front of everybody but still, what can I say, I tend to be dumb sometimes.

He was trying to hide a laugh which came out as chuckles "Oh, her face was priceless!" he said clapping his hands like a retarded seal

"So you enjoyed that?" I stiffened when his hand touched my arm

"Yes, I did. But that wasn't the plan, actually. She was making fun of you, rule one, a good bestfriend doesn't let his bestfriend get humiliated." He said as he slung an arm around my shoulders to pull me closer to him and I swear, I felt a smile crept to my face. My stomach doing weird jittery dances that made me feel.. good? awesome? special?
