"Oh my god! Lily why didn't you say anything!" Calum yelled as Lily's eyes started to water.

"I-i s-so sorry, d-dad" She cried as Calum sighed and hugged her and placed her on his hip tracing little forms on her small tan back.

"It's okay baby, just tell me next time, okay? I had a date, Lilypad now I can't go because I need to go to the Parents Meeting from your soccer league" Calum explained still a bit mad himself. He was really looking forward to the date with Luke but now his plans have changed.

"I'm sorry daddy, I forgot to tell you" Lily said calming her cries and sniffling onto Calum's shoulder "Will Lukey be mad?"

" I hope not but okay, go change and meet me down here in 5, okay" Calum sighed because it will tear him apart if Luke does not want to rearrange for another date.

He paced as he looked at Luke's contact and thought of many ways to tell him. He didn't want to sound sad or like he was doing this on purpose. Calum finally found a way and decided to call Luke. The phone rang and rang until the sound of Luke's deep voice blessed Calum's ears.

"Hey, babe, are you as nervous as I am?" Luke talked and he seemed so happy with a hint of nervousness and Calum wanted to rip his head off.

"About that" his voice trailed "I think we need to change our plans" Calum but his upper lip as he waited for Luke's response.

"W-What do you mean?"

"Lily just told me I have to be at some weird Parent Meeting for her soccer league" Calum explained as he heard Luke chuckle "I am so sorry, Luke, I hope you are not mad or never want to see me again I-I" Calum rambled and stammered.

"I'm not mad, Cal, I get why... Lily comes first, It's okay baby... we will change the date" Luke said and to Calum's ears those words melted like honey and his heart was full of ants walking up and down making his heart race.

"Okay, talk to you later" Calum said in the most love struck voice.

"Bye, soccer mommy"

And that left Calum blushing and being in a good mood, not even thinking about how late he would be for the meeting.

"Dad! You are red, are you sickypoo?" Lily asked running down the stairs as she looked at her father with careful eyes.

"Something like that"
