burnt rice; shawn wasabi~
It was one of those day where Luke's heart felt heavy and like everytime he breathed it was a hard task to do.
Luke often felt like this, every time he thinks of her mom and how lovely her lasagna was and how her thin blonde hair would be in a messy bun and how she smiled and her little subtle wrinkles will appear and how she would love when Luke sang while strumming his guitar.
He missed her.
He missed her, so fucking much. He couldn't do anything because she wasn't there, to hold him, to tell him how good Calum was for him. She wasn't.
And every now and then he would go to her grave and just ball his eyes out and tell her about his week and how many guys he was banged and he could imagine her scowling him and shaking her head.
These were one of those days where he would go get her least favorite flowers because she always said it would be hilarious to do that when she died. She shared the same humor as Luke and that was probably why Liz was so attached to Luke, that or because he was her youngest.
He bought some roses and walked in the grey and windy atmosphere of the city. When he got to the cemetery he walked straight to where his mother rested in peace. It was odd to how much he went there, that he even memorized some of the dates of the deceased.
He liked to do that. To see how long that person lasted and imagine based by their name, what they did and how they died.
Amber L. Harrison, 1997- 2010. She was a simple girl from the south who moved to this amazing city and dreamed of being a singer. She died from a poorly installed light in one of her gigs, crushed doing the thing she loved, singing.
Mark P. Welch, 1957 - 2005 and Mary-Anne Welch 1954 - 2006. Beautiful couple fell in love hopelessly, got married Mary popped a couple of kids while he worked at the lumber factory. They lived comfortably, with nothing fancy. Working at the lumber factory really tired him down, once he retired his head started to hurt more than usal. Mary insisted for him to check that, he didn't listen. Mark died from a brain tumor, and she followed, her poor heart couldn't take his sudden death.
Samuel Perez 2015 - 2016 and Sofia Perez 2015 - 2016. Identical twins who didn't last very long. Both happy babies, often sick but not too much. Died from a bacteria they caught at the hospital.
His stories probably weren't accurate but it made him think how life is short yet is too long to be unhappy.
He placed the roses down next to his mothers grave and sat down on the wet grass. He sighed and started to talk. He talked about Ethan and how he found a girl and he is madly in love, he talked about Calum and how he is possibly madly in love himself, he talked about Lily and how beautiful her soul is and hoe he wished he was more like her, but he has been corrupted by real life and so much evil that he wasn't sure her could pull it off.
He sat there for about 3 hours, just talking and talking, like he used to do when she was still alive. He vented out about everything and anything.
"And I just couldn't believe he said that! It was so racist ya know?!" He said looking down to his lap and up to her grave. He smiled as a small tear rolled down to his cheekbone. His tender moment was cut short when his phone dinged signaling a new text.
